1.021600Sheezy.Arthttps://sheezy.artimorbhttps://sheezy.art/imorbhttps://sheezy.art/content/uploads/user-897/20211226014113-72c20b0b-95675dc7-c6329c62-6603b222.png640640rich660660https://sheezy.art/imorb/journal/thank-you<article> <h1>thank you</h1> <p>i was featured?????????????????</p> <p>dang, i wanna cry. everyone is so nice on this site. i'm really proud of that piece, the duskwalker. it was a big leap forward for me this year in my art. i really want to continue on with illustration and i have a lot of other cryptid theme ones in mind. the original plan was to make one every month for a cryptid calendar... well, this year was rough. maybe to some not as much as 2020, but for me its been just as bad, escpially working through most of covid and seeing how terribly people treat one another. a lot of rough things have happened in my personal life as well. mentally, it's been very taxing.</p> <p>without a shred of hyperbole, sheezy has been the highlight of my year so far. i finally feel like i'm part of the art community again. i've been posting stuff for years now, but it hasn't felt like my art had been impactful for a long time. i've always had awesome friends that support me, but i always said my art would never have widespread appeal. not that i think i'm the coolest artist alive now, i got plenty to work on, but it's really nice to be feel recognized and apperciated for the hours of work i've put in.</p> <p>i absolutely love this community. i want to support it and watch it grow. and oh, how it has grown. in the short time i've been here the userbase has more than doubled. i'm full of an excitment i haven't had since i was first learning how the internet worked when i was a little kid. everyone here is so talented, sweet, and funny. thank you for having me, sheezy.  ♡</p> </article>
