When it comes to the toxicity from deviantart, I know many have personal horror stories relating to it, but thankfully enough I haven't really got one. I've had theft here and there but nothing extreme. 

Now I know alot of people are here because they HATE what they've done to core and just the site themeselves. I personally don't hate it but I do miss the customization they used to have with the pages and I miss the old look haha. I believe the customization was a good touch and let people see a glimpse of what they liked. I saw pages like person's room and from how their room looks like, you get a look at their aesthetics, theme, likes or maybe personality. Expressing yourself just like how you express yourself in art. With it taken away, all your left with is the simple header and information attached. Kinda doesn't make it seem personal anymore. I read that they did to make user's profiles look professional, almost like a partfolio. I can see how people could benefit in professional fields with a format like that but for many users this change made alot of people disappointed.
