Hello! Hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday and new year (barring current events)!

It's been a while since I've been active here, so thought I'd write a little update journal. First off, I've finally graduated from AAU with my degree in Visual Development! Based on the feedback I got for my portfolio, I still have more I can learn, but I think I've definitely improved at least to a decent degree. I'd like to jump back into my thesis and really go ham on it and continue improving my craft, but only after my family and I have finished moving.

Yep, we're moving to a new house that we finally own, up north in Eureka, California. After 27 years, we'll be moving out of Arizona. It's already proving to be a huge step for all of us. Sorting and packing all of our stuff is taking a while and we'll be leaving behind a lot of connections and memories we've made here. But I know we're all ready for this. We've been ready for I think the better part of a decade or more. This is something we're all excited for.

I also want to jump back into drawing and posting my work. It's just a question of what I feel like doing. I also feel like school sort of sucked out the joy of drawing for its own sake this past year or so, which largely explains why I haven't posted much new lately. Hopefully after this move I can work up that joy again and commit myself to this personal thesis project. And just draw silly things that bring me that joy. I miss that feeling.

I'm also looking forward to the new updates announced for the site. Can't wait!

Anyway, that's about it. I'll be here again after we've all moved an settled in to the new house!
