Doctrine Dark's birthday was on December 3th. So yeah, I am so late for that. Sorry Holger.

I got the idea of the drawing months in advance, since poppies are a known symbol for war remembrance. And it really first considering Doctrine Dark's more known backstory of losing his comrades in a bloody battle against Rolento's forces. It's tragic, I tried to follow the idea through the coloring.

Also I got inspired by the song "Loš je dan" from Max & Intro, since that song is so Doctrine Dark-coded. I added the lyrics both the English translation and later the original Serbian lyrics. (I really want to make an animatic with that song for Doctrine Dark and Guile)

I had to use JustSketchMe for the pose since it was a pose and angle (Especially the angle) I haven't drawn before. I'll admit, I'm not proud of that fact, And I think I should've done better... But at least I like how I tried to represent my idea for the drawing.

I love Doctrine Dark so much.
