I got this idea for a rewrite/reimagining of the creepypasta "mereana mordegard glesgorv" because i've realized a while back just how strange it is that the still of the man in the original video was just taken from a video of some random guy talking about marketing, he didn't consent to his face being used in a spooky creepypasta video so i'd like to make my own reimagining of the story that's a little more respectful. So i took the name of the story (which is seemingly just the name of some random woman) and made my own character called "lady mereana"

She's a sorceress from the 1500's who loves being the center of attention so she curses people to become SO enamoured by her that they end up having to gouge out their own eyes and give them to her because they can't bare to do anything except look at her all day. One of her suitors even painted a portrait of her using his own blood and it's said that looking at it for too long will cause you to have the same fate as her victims (i'm thinking of actually painting a physical portrait of her myself using watercolors)
