The lilituck and mopotok — the little people and the shadow people. While the little people tend to lush forest floors and make borrowers of themselves in the homes of mortals, the mopotok are cast in darkness. Seeding both soil and misfortune, the shadow people are best kept at a distance and not called. Fertile loam and new growth amidst decay are thought to be the work of shadow people.
