- he/any
22 y/o | digital artist/traditional sketches
I've got nothing else I wanna upload from 2022/2023, so the situation we've been having of me uploading 5 images every single day is officially over! Now I will maybe post more normally :] motivation depending.
It's been nice looking back at my older art. Kind of stressful, but nice. I hope people like it as much as I do.
I haven't done one of these in...I think an actual decade at this point, but. I'm excited! So in the spirit of things, let's do this!
BASICS:
name/nickname: I usually just go by Cecilia nowadays!
gender: Guy
pronouns: he/him primarily, but I'm comfortable with any/all (including neopronouns, if you wanna get fun :])
age: 21 - my birthday's on August 20th!
location: Europe
fun fact: im spanch and in accordance with nominative determinism have the patience of a saint
hobbies/interests: drawing, listening to music, character analysis, animals, birds specifically
dream job: child psychologist/therapist :]
ART:
favorite medium: back of an unrelated worksheet using the closest pencil within reach
favorite subjects (what do you like to draw, take pictures of, making music about, ect): i like drawing facial expressions, lounging poses, any kind of pants, snarls, and birds!
as for writing, i like roleplay and writing heavily character-focused pieces, especially when i can explore specific character dynamics (or even just an individual's thoughts on a dynamic they're in)!
favorite artists/inspiration: unironically all of my friends (notable off the top of my head being @Lucabyte, @squidslugs, Samhainian) but also I get most of my inspiration and motivation to draw and write from music :]
favorite period of art: ALL OF THEM. This is serious. I'm also specifically very fond of when artists recreate Madonna and Child, it's one of my favorite images. once i went to the detroit institute of arts and i just straight up dedicated myself to hunting down every rendition of madonna and child they had on display, and one of them was a painting of the artist's wife and daughter calling back to madonna and child and i was so, so so so so so happy.
piece you're the most proud of: my memory bad . sorpy.
how long have you been creating: since at least 2011!
how did you learn: doing. :]
how long does it usually take you to make something: depends. can be a few hours. can be months. sometimes i simply do not finish. i try not to sweat it anymore, unless it's commission work.
what's the big project you haven't got around to yet: FINISHING A CHARACTER LINEUP FOR ONE OF MY PROJECTS RAAAGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I HAVE THEM SKETCHED BUT I DONT FEEL LIKE COLORING THEMMMM!!!!!!! AAAARGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
TAG:
The only thing I am not going to do with this is tag people because I am and have always been shy about doing that gfhnjgfh. but if you wanna do it, the blank is in the link below!
