So, currently, I'm trying to think of stuff I could post here and in other places (so here, Twitter, Toyhouse, and Newgrounds are what I have and can post to right now). I'm not that motivated enough to sit down and draw often, so I'm trying to think up other things to post. I was also gonna post this elsewhere, but I think this is the only place I seem to be noticed so far.
I have like, I guess a roadmap of stuff in my head that I will start doing with time and I admit I'm kinda just in a "get followers then do the cool stuff later" phase of it. But let's focus on now. I don't know what else to post right now besides art every wednesday.
I have sketches to turn into pieces, and once I can open my bank account (which I'm gonna try tomorrow!) I might open a Ko-Fi or something and put my sketches there. Not because I'm begging for money, but I genuinely need a place to put them so I won't switch friend group servers again and then lose my plans and I need some type of benefit for people to get when they donate since I'm low energy and I don't know if I can produce much for a Ko-Fi or Patreon.
I do plan on making monthly sketch dumps, though, since I like doodling in SAI when I'm bored and I can make cute little doodles like that bug kiddo sometimes and I wanna share them.
I'm also working on some projects. Mainly working on a visual novel in Ren'py, but I plan to basically make it open source and just finish the script, release the script (which has notes for what I want scenes to look like), then slowly, over time, work on adding my own art to it, but at the same time, allowing others to work on it too if they wish. I thought that might be fun. Is there a way I could like, tease this project? I do have character designs done since I based the story off of an attempt to make a paracosm or story to think about/daydream often. (Or at least a few. I finished Danger and Red's design and my next piece of artwork I'm sharing is of Red, actually!)
I also have an actual commercial game in the work too! But I lost motivation for it because of having to work on sprites and level designs, my two least favorite parts of gamedev, and so I dropped it for now. The same goes for a project with me and my friends. No one is picking level design up so I have to do it- We also do need sprites done, which my friend is handling...so yeah.
I'm also planning to start an art thread on Toyhouse and also maybe join some art-related servers to share art there and make friends.
What do you think of these plans? Got any suggestions or anything along those lines? I need all the help I can get with this, so yeah.
