Robinhood High school. A population of about 533 students. 163 freshmen, 145 sophomores,
134 juniors, and 91 seniors. In one month, they are going to celebrate a very special day that only happens once every four years!

Miss Ludenburg is the poetry teacher. Poetry is a rather small class, having only 17 students.

[Miss Ludenburg]: Alright, class! In one month, we are going to celebrate a very special day! It’s the moment you’ve been waiting for… Candy Day!

Whispers upon the class. Martha then raises her hand

[Miss Ludenburg]: Yes, Martha?

[Martha]: Excuse me Miss Ludenburg… What’s candy day?

[Miss Ludenburg]: Well, Martha, Every four years, we make homemade candy for the whole class. We then give it to our peers to show appreciation for their existence.

[Jacob]: How was it made?

[Miss Ludenburg]: Well, Jacob, It was created in 1989 by Mr. and Mrs. Olfie, and it was originally to appreciate the deceased in the school. However, in the span of 12 years, we found out almost all of the deaths in school were from suicide. Therefore, in 2001, we made it what it is today to show those who feel unloved, unsafe, or unwanted, that they matter.

[Arthur]: Miss L? What the fuck did the facility do with all the deaths that were announced?

[Miss Ludenburg]: Language, Arthur. Our facility had made a decision where all announced deaths had been carved into the bricks of our school monument.
