“So it’s a double date?” Viggo asked, as his evershifting eyes became orange and green. Viggo’s animated blonde hair was waving around the air and dancing to a non-existent wind. Subconsciously he grabbed Vuyelwa’s hips with a tendril of his hair as he met her eyes.

“It looks like it’s just us, bro.” Qian placed his hand on Frelly’s waist, “You think having Kess and Sheena around would make this less awkward?”

“What’s the craic with this place? Is it something you won’t tell me in front of Mama V?” Frelly inquired.

“My boy tells me everything!” Vuyelwa snapped back at Frelly, as Viggo’s hair flailed in surprise. “Now be a sweetie and tell me…”

“Why don’t you start Qian?” Viggo made an uneasy smile as he deflected Vuyelwa’s attention.

“Well there’s some old friends to meet here from when I was selling herbal remedies with Viggo. I also heard it was a good place to eat at, and heard nothing about any disasters the last cook caused!” Frelly spanked Qian on the buttocks.

“Ow!” Qian smiled, “It should be new owners by now! I’m sure they’re not Wererats!”

“So Vu, are you ready to keep your boy in line just like I taught you?” Frelly inquired.

“You’ve been a wonderful teacher, Frelly!” Vuyelwa’s sparkles brightened as winked at Frelly,“If Viggo causes any trouble he’ll have to answer for it, just like you showed me.”

“It should be fine, it’s been at least 5 years since that happened!” Qian exclaimed.

“I’m sure it was.” Viggo added.

Frelly gave Qian and Viggo a look, “We’re just here to pull their arses of trouble if it finds them. Now darlings, why don’t the two of you go inside to see if there’s any surprises for us.”
