Backstory: A mysterious man with a long and colorful past. He said he was a Templar during the time of the Crusades and participated in the Battle of Acre. Cursed by a Witch whose feelings he rejected he developed a mad thirst for blood and a sensitivity towards Sunlight, Azrael had once said he looked for the Holy Grail alongside his Templar brothers in the belief that it would've cured him of his curse. Drank from the grail when he and the others were captured by the traitor Gawain and King Philip IV who planned to kill them and use the grail to become an all powerful monarch and instead of curing of the curse it made it permanent but it did kill the mercenaries with Gawain and cursed Philip. Azrael often travels from place to place, but usually goes back to Castlevania as he was taken there by two female Mages after he blacked out after using the Grail. After a while, he moved to the southern part of America during the late 1800's to start a new life. Works at MacFarlane's Ranch as a Ranch Hand, but sometimes takes odd jobs from people in town or helps out those in need.
