gifROUGH TIMELINE ~ FIRST DRAFTROUGH TIMELINE-the world is perceived by the earth/pool as being inadequate, because ties between essences are typically sparse and weak, particularly between people and the natural world. this is part due to exploitation of the natural world, and also due to people considering themselves as elevated above nature instead of a part of it-the earth/pool creates a being whose purpose is to manifest the pool into the physical realm, thereby connecting all essences to each other again, which is what they naturally desire at odds with the body-something goes wrong, during its development and emergence/birth, the creature is split into two separate bodies, while retaining the one essence it was given-the creatures are born out of a river, under a new moon, and the light from their birth lights up the sky anyway. the river has symbolic significance in that it is the starting point of their journey, and it also represents the flow of the soul/essence back to the pool -- the sea-when they are first born and their new bodies are solidifying, they are made of a concentrated form of energy that immediately absorbs and returns every essence of every organism they come into contact with to the pool. this is not arbitrary--this is ultimately how they will fulfill their purpose. they wander for a little bit, and eventually settle and ‘cool’. they will have no memory of any of this, and due the their defectiveness, they also will have no memory of the pool or their purpose. if they never remember, they will have failed, and if they do remember, what they do could mean that they still failed. this is because throughout their life they will try to discover that people are basically inclined towards goodness, kindness, and care. if that is the belief you have, killing everyone because they are ‘evil’ and lack compassionate connections with the world is a failure-it is my opinion that discussions of connection, technology, and relationships with nature take on a different character in a rural setting. given that this setting is what i am familiar with, the story’s major locations are rural. the first of these settings is sinter’s house. sinter lives in an area that draws on my personal fascination with berkshire towns in western massachusetts, like rowe, florida, and savoy. a favorite road to drive on goes through these towns, and i myself live in a small town. my town’s proximity to interstate highway and exits changes its character, too-sinter is a character who serves the same role in the lives of lullabye and goodnight as my very first boyfriend played, and in some ways still plays, in my life. she is their first real experience with another person, and shapes the way they view themselves in relation to others, to the world, and to time. generally, she is a negative force in their lives, but they are too inexperienced and naive to know any better. they truly think that she was too good to be true, despite the turmoil she causes within them. they assume that something is wrong with them, and don’t consider for a very long time that she could have been the one with something wrong with them. given the appeal of sinter’s design, and the feelings the main characters have towards her, i am hesitant to make her wrongdoings something incredibly serious like i had initially planned. initially, she would ‘take advantage’ of them, and of lullabye in particular. perhaps i can still allude to this aspect of the relationship. there is a writer i follow who will use language that focuses on the body instead of the self and i feel that would be a good route to go down because of the feelings this technique evokes. i think i could also look at how this topic is approached in god in three persons. i don’t need to come straight out with it, and i can leave it vague enough that someone could not pick up on it at first. it is normal for the characters it is happening to. this is not to say that some part of them doesn’t know that it is wrong. my most recent experience with this saw me not consciously realizing that what was happening to me was wrong, but still having emotional outbursts that i could not explain during the time it was going on. these characters absolutely experience these same kinds of confusing and disorienting feelings and outbursts and are not able to give a reason for them-given that lullabye is the favorite target, he would be the most resistant to the idea that sinter was hurting him. this can be a source of conflict between him and goodnight, who is better able to see the situation for what it is, but also sometimes feels that lullabye deserved it due to projecting his own shame and desire for punishment onto him-the rest of the relationship is frequently painful because sinter does not see lullabye and goodnight as the same as herself. there is no real malice or calculation on her part. she is just a troubled person trying to gain some sense of control over her life. she overall feels very helpless and relies on the people she is hurting to care for her and comfort her. she lives in a small house with her grandfather, somewhere that really feels too small and like the walls are closing in. she never has any visitors and spends most of her time running errands and doing chores for her grandfather. aside from her relationship with lullabye and goodnight, she takes walks in the late night/early morning before the sun is up to feel a sense of control. she walks until it rises or until she hurts and then walks home and starts her day. she gets the same regulatory effect from these walks that i feel from driving. if lullabye and goodnight had not entered her life, she might have never treated anyone the way she treats them. i believe that a lot of choices and behaviors people make and engage in come down to opportunity and proximity, and those things themselves are up to chance-the matter of lullabye and goodnight meeting sinter is a bit tricky to me. i am thinking that she could encounter them on one of her walks, which would disrupt the sense of security she gets from that activity. it’s the easiest thing i can think of. they could be wandering around in the area because the river is close to sinter’s house. the specifics allude me. i would think to start sinter should seem too good to be true. she takes them in, makes sure they are warm and have food and water and a place to stay with her. but her nature as dictated by her circumstances eventually forces her hand and her cruelty and nastiness comes out. this could make lullabye and goodnight resistant to the idea of being cared for in the future, because they associate it with their own feelings of helplessness and subjugation, instead of genuine care for another living being-lullabye and goodnight would absolutely be heavily dependent on sinter, because this is inadvertently what she has forced on them. but she doesn’t like this feeling. it’s overwhelming and very discomforting. it makes her feel guilty. she cannot handle these feelings and abruptly removes herself from their lives. they are basically kicked out of her house and this sets them on their path to the sea, which is where rainbow lives.-what they do while they are travelling to the sea is another tricky point to me. i am considering that i will need to add a third character to fill this space, but it is more likely that they do not have any lasting or real relationships during this time. any character i could come up with just would not matter in the way that sinter and rainbow do. lullabye is definitely a person who believes that he has to be sexually available to anyone around him, and goodnight expresses a subconscious lingering desire from their ‘whole’ form to basically kill everything on the planet through sadomasochism. he gets gratification from being hurt, and eventually also turns this outward and is gratified by hurting others. i would imagine that these two would have other experiences similar to what they had with sinter, but since they are just confirming/affirming their views of themselves and the world instead of creating them, they do not have the same significance. and ultimately, in this stage of writing, i do not place that much importance on this part of the story. i actually almost feel that if i focused on this part of their lives, it would come off as trauma porn. i know for sure they are not staying in one place for very long. lullabye and goodnight both receive visions and messages from the pool attempting to get them to remember their purpose, and they do feel pulled and guided by these visions and do feel a sense of restlessness because they do not feel that they have a purpose in life. after writing that out, i am realizing that this part of their life is important if only for that reason. i will have to explore this further-continuing work on this days later, i have decided that i will be re-adding an existing character from a previous iteration of the story. this character takes on a somewhat neutral role, neither confirming or denying the worldviews of lullabye and goodnight. they can offer a glimpse of what it would be like to be loved, but ultimately their neutrality combined with the mindsets of lullabye and goodnight means that it could never be possible. the main point with this character is to show that even kind, well-meaning people can cause/enable harm through both inaction and lack of interrogation. in this story they continue the cycle of violence experienced by the main characters. when they try to turn the relationship sexual is when it falls apart, because lullabye and goodnight realize that they are stuck if they stay. still, before that this character is someone that lullabye and goodnight can come back and cry to and who is a very comforting figure. i want to stress that this character making an advance is not necessarily a negative all on its own, and the character does not act with ill will or without consent. it doesn’t even have to be something ‘big’. it probably is a small gesture or comment. this just serves as a wake-up call to lullabye and goodnight that their current lifestyle is hurting them and infiltrating even their non-sexual relationships. i think some people have a tendency to think that as an adult, you are free to do whatever you want and you should chase pleasure because it feels good. but it can come to a point where unhealthy and self-harming behaviors are overlooked and encouraged. sometimes, harmful behaviors can help us at first, but we have to eventually be able to recognize when the bad effects outweigh the good ones-anyway, lullabye and goodnight spend some time in a small city with this character, tentatively called blessing. as i said the relationship falls apart when sexuality is brought into it, but this also comes after lullabye and goodnight are beginning to feel restless beyond reconciliation. they are pushed by the pool to seek out their purpose, but they don’t get it yet. all they can work out is they need to move towards the sea, so they just follow the river towards it. they also feel restless in the relationship. they love blessing, but they want something more. they want what they don’t have is what it comes down to. they want something purifying and complete, a total merge of the soul. this is a recurring theme in their relationships. they think they have found total connection, but eventually the feeling fades and they find themselves wanting all over again. these characters live in a world where it is possible for people’s souls to touch each other and connect, but perhaps people just are not capable of it in the way they want, and they have to learn to accept having secrets and unknowns-after breaking things off with blessing, lullabye and goodnight set off to the sea, following the river. it could be the one they were born out of, a larger one it flows into, or an entirely unrelated but still nearby river-i feel that the element of the souls/essences being able to touch each other has not come up much yet. it is present at lullabye and goodnight’s birth, when things die on contact with their still-solidifying infant bodies. and it is present in their desire for that kind of connection even though it takes them some time to be able to understand and articulate that desire. it is more present as an actual more tangible element during their wanderings. their essences touch those of the plants, animals, and some features of the natural environment that they encounter in their journey to the sea. in nature, they are easily surprised and made happy by the smallest of things, and out here they feel liked, acknowledged, and heard, something they don’t really get in their life now. they feel a particular affinity for moving water and like to sit and think with their hands submerged in it, letting the current run over them and cool them off-they encounter only a few people on this journey. this is up until the next big event in their lives--meeting rainbow-rainbow lives right at the edge of the sea. this is the final leg of their journey-they meet rainbow about as soon as they reach the sea, before they can spend too much time wondering why they are there. the way they immediately feel for her is unlike anything they have felt for anyone else before. they both think that this person could be the one who can give them the connection they want. they like the gentle and patient, yet firm, way she handles her horses. they want someone to treat them like that, too-null, their combined form, begins making more appearances now. its worldview is shaped by lullabye and goodnight’s own, but it is also its own person and forms its own opinions the more it is present. null is better able to understand the visions it gets from the pool, and learns of its true purpose for existing. lullabye and goodnight may have never learned it on their own, and i think this can be understood in their focus on more grounded, physical desires. null is benefitted from being only one body in this regard-they spend a relatively short amount of time with rainbow until null has almost fully taken over their lives. at most i am thinking this would be 5-6 months, and i usually lean towards 3. then there is very little time left before null fulfills its purpose, likely a buildup of three days. it would bring rainbow down to the shore with it and their last moments would be spent together. i doubt that she would fully understand what was happening, because null is an obscure/cryptic person who does not feel the need to share everything the way that lullabye and goodnight often do.-now i have to think about how those months with rainbow would be spent. their first encounter should feel compelling, and i don’t want it to feel similar to how they meet sinter. therefore, it cannot just be them bumping into her in the woods in the dark hours of the morning, and perhaps not even the night. it can be in broad daylight. i want their introduction to each other to preview the dynamic they will have. this is why i’ve mostly been considering they walk onto her property and see her with her horses. they are more careful now than they used to be. i think startling her is a good ‘preview’ for the dynamic she’ll have with null. maybe the horse can feel spooked or excited by something, what it is doesn’t matter much, and she has to calm it down. once she does, she notices them watching her and feels spooked herself. at this point the horse can turn and run off to the others, leaving the three to talk. i do not want the horse to feel scared because of lullabye and goodnight, because of them being born directly from the planet and because this has made nature feel welcoming for them-i like this option because it allows us to see rainbow in action as she will appear to lullabye and goodnight. she is firm, gentle, and patient. that is what attracts them to her and that is how they need to be treated. rainbow is a character who provides love, structure, and safety. they never feel anything different from her. the conflict in the story does not need to come from this relationship, and in that vein i want to also say that the conflict in the story need not also come from lullabye and goodnight’s relationship with each other, both of which are elements i had considered adding. what she wants from them is compliance, because she wants to rehabilitate them (like you would a rescue animal). this gives her a sense of control, accomplishment, and legacy/impact. a lot of what they do together is based on this exchange-they have rules they have to follow and tasks they have to do for her, and this of course extends into their sexual dynamic as well-if this is not something you enjoy it might sound stifling and overbearing, but it is what they like. they can feel cared for, loved, respected. they consider the relationship a fresh start. there is some trial and error, but like i said overall the conflict in the story does not come from that place-things really change when null begins to appear more frequently. it is a major disruption in everyone’s lives. null is a character who comes in and interrupts and ruins everything. with this aspect i want to explore the idea of blame. can lullabye and goodnight be faulted for what happens? should they be? are they at fault? what about null?-null disrupts lullabye and goodnight’s recovery just by virtue of existing. for it to exist and live it must take their place. their thoughts and feelings don’t necessarily carry over. it loves rainbow, but not at all close to the way lullabye and goodnight do, which is something that they all know and are aware of. null is hard to connect to, and talks in ways that other characters don’t like or do not find easy to parse and understand its true meaning and feelings-once it starts appearing very frequently it's already over. eventually lullabye and goodnight do not make any appearances, it is only null. at this point, it knows what it was created for. null is the creature that the pool intended to create, and it has better communication with it than the other two did. it is possible that it could have interpreted its purpose in a different way, but it doesn’t. i like to play with the idea of there being multiple endings where it chooses a different path-the final part of the story spans only a few days, as null makes its final preparations for what it is about to do. i do not feel that particulars are really important—it is something that is only known to null-the story ends with mass resorption of souls into the pool, and the potency manifests it into the physical realm. none of the souls keep their memories of life once the process is complete. they only feel happy, warm, and love-i will next work on discussions of intentional themes and messages but for now please enjoy thinking about this the story is split roughly into five parts. I WISH which covers the birth of lullabye and goodnight. TO PLEASE which covers their time with sinter. TO HURT which covers their time with blessing. Wendy takes notes on that Director_Vivian kidnaps Doggo She holds him captive and tells Heidi by a livestream If they don't get him and defeat her in 72 hours, he will die Heidi defeats Director Vivian and saves Doggo Heidi and Doggo go on a date the ERS are now finding data about guest 666 Wendy wants to talk to someone but most of them are busy; some ofthem aren't but they don't want to talk to her Wendy goes outside because she is sad and alone she meets Detonate again she decides to fight him because she has nothing else to do she loses but doesn't care because she spent time with someone this happens at a weekly basis Guest 666 kidnaps Gina and Kenzie Gina tries to escape but fails Doggo, Heidi, Crystalia and Wendy fight to get Gina and Kenzie back Crystalia gets snatched away and now they have to fight in the dark Guest 666 uses Crystalia as a shield but it's not working Guest 666 is defeated Gina and Kenzie are rescued they go back home to find information about Bloxwatch There are some actual bad hackers located at places Crystalia decides to fight them But goes to sleep mid fight She fights off all the hackers and goes back home the ERs notice that she has cuts and bruises all over her She explains that she got tired her sleep schedule is extra It turns out every time crystalia sleeps, she meets her family and anyone who sleeps next to her will also meet her family after that they find out information about bloxwatch he's trying to possess Wendy and Doggo with crystals the rest of the ERs found out about this so they fight him gina almost gets possessed but kenzie gets her and bloxwatch is defeated crystalia unpossesses wendy and doggo but bloxwatch says he will return next is C00lkidd They search for info about c00lkidd Wendy develops a crush on Detonate Crystalia develops a crush on Wendy Wendy tells Crystalia about her crush because she's the only one she can trust Crystalia is devastated by this but hides it and supports Wendy She gives her advice and helps her strengthen her relationship with him Wendy gives Detonate cotton candy ice cream Little does she know, she just saved him from suicide but detonate hides that from her and hugs her Wendy and Detonate now date Crystalia is empty inside, but she's happy that wendy's happy. They then fight C00lkidd they win yay but oh no C00lkidd is still alive and he's targeting Heidi he plans to kill her entire family in the slowest most brutal way possible Heidi is traumatized and frightened about this She keeps worrying about this but doesn't tell anyone Doggo is suffering from depression because he feels like his country is going to come to an end He feels like its no use, leading him to suicidal thoughts He tells Heidi this, and she admits that she's dealing with the same thing she tells him about C00lkidd killing their entire family Doggo just doesn't care anymore and doesn't have the energy if Heidi is going to live without doggo and vice versa, they might as well die together so they both write a suicide note Doggo then sets up his gun to account deletion mode they both walk to each other kiss each other passionately with his gun pointed at both of their heads at the same time and pulls the trigger Crystalia wakes up from her nap and hears a thud Alarmed, she runs to heidi and doggo's room she finds a horrible sight Heidi and doggo have half of their heads blown up by the blast with blood pouring all over their floor she finds their suicide notes everyone but wendy found their bodies on the ground they all hide it from Wendy she speculates that and tells detonate that its been a while since she's seen them she dusts it off for now Next is 1x1x1x1 The ER's are grieving and unable to do anything Wendy tries to cheer them up but they just don't feel it She doesn't know what's going on when they fight 1x1x1x1, they take all their anger out on him and they absolutely destroy him they feel sorta better now but still really sad C00lkidd dies before encountering the ERs so does Bloxwatch Next is John and Jane Doe They find info about them it turns out they were the two who made jewelerize and made her to help delete elemental robloxia AND roblox in general making it all lost media for good. why? DP told them about the dangers that happen in roblox oding, gambling, and sexual activity They couldn't take it so they try to do that but oh yea the ERs stop them in time DP sees this and she asks them for their power, as their sacrifice will be avenged the does trust her and gives her all their power combined. she gets all the power and the ers are expected to meet 2 hours before sunset tomorrow the ers rest for now wendy has a dream about a girl who was mutilated in the woods shes still alive she decides to talk to her for a little bit until she wakes up she sits with detonate on the couch she talks about her dream with them detonate recognizes this they call and warn crystalia that wendy is gonna die of dismemberment crystalia is in denial and she cries a lot, saying that she heard the same thing from gina and kenzie detonate is heartbroken and does everything they can to make wendy's last moments the best moments of her life its now time to encounter them crystalia, detonate, and wendy all go to the place All of them give it their all Wendy’s body gets sliced in half (horizontally at waist) She doesn’t realize this but the others do her upper body falls to the ground Wendy gets held by crystalia and detonate she asks why they’re crying so much and that she’s gonna respawn little does she know, the bad hackers made it where their blow was terminal she closes her eyes one last time before getting her account deleted something snaps in both crystalia and detonate and they give it their all to beat the shit out of dove and jewelerize crystalia even turns into a roblox founder (roblox equivalent to a god/goddess) all the bad hackers brutally die and explode they go back home with wendy’s cap, the only thing left from the termed account crystalia goes back to the house where everyone is dead except for her detonate goes back to his apartment anx lays on the bed, staring at the ceiling next to him was a box, inside of it is a wedding ring epilogue (synapse teaming up with roblox) hacker roblox ends up in shit theres a big tornado blizzard its synapse x synapse, the roblox exploiting program, has teamed up with roblox to ip ban all hackers crystalia dies in the storm while shes being carried detonate falls in despair and wants synpse and roblox to take him too he also dies there is a white void where he sees crystalia, wendy, doggo and heidi he immediately bursts into tears wendy comforts him everyone else also cries and wendy doesn’t know why she hugs everyone group hug alone together in the void, awaiting banland in the finale end credits they all sing dont call me a noob by kawaii kunicornpersonperson
