Most were reskins, custom bosses, or goofy texture packs. But one thread stood out—titled only "TERRARIA.EXE " in blood-red font, with no replies and a download link. The description read: “Rediscover the world. See what lies beneath the dirt. Terraria was never just a game.” I figured it was just an edgy texture pack, maybe trying to parody Sonic.exe , so I downloaded it. The ZIP folder contained only one file:Terraria.exe . No mod folder, no README. Odd. I booted it up. The logo was normal... until the music glitched. Instead of Terraria’s cheerful tune, it was reversed and drowned in static. The “Single Player” button was twitching slightly like it was… alive . When I clicked it, there was only one character: Name: _HeKnows_Difficulty: ??? I swear I never made that character. I selected him. Same thing with the world—it was already there:World Name: TheCoreBled Corruption Level: ∞ The loading bar was sluggish, like it didn’t want to finish. But eventually, it loaded. The world was dim. Not nighttime dim—like the sun had forgotten to rise. Everything had a purple hue, even biomes that weren’t corrupted. My character had no inventory, no health bar, no HUD at all. I walked right, toward the forest. The trees were wilting. Eyes from the background watched me. The background music was missing—replaced by ambient breathing sounds, like something was behind me, waiting . Eventually, I reached a small wooden signpost: “You’ve gone too deep. Dig it back up. Before it digs into you.” Suddenly, the game forced me to dig down. My character wouldn’t stop. I tried pressing Esc. Nothing. The game ignored me. He kept digging deeper and deeper through stone and shadow. That’s when I saw it: a face. Carved into the background walls. Gigantic. Grinning. It was the Guide , but warped. No pupils. Blood—realistic, not pixelated—streamed from his sockets. The mouth opened. “YOU LET IT IN.” The screen stuttered. A custom boss fight began, even though I had no weapons. ??? has awoken! It was… a corrupted version of the Eye of Cthulhu, but fused with body parts from other bosses—Skeletron’s jaw, Wall of Flesh’s tendrils, Plantera vines. It screamed in multiple voices, including my player’s. The game window shrank. Then resized. Then flickered. My desktop background changed for a moment—to a screenshot from the game:My player’s body, mangled, beneath the earth. Then everything went black. AFTERMATH When I rebooted my PC, the Terraria folder was gone. Replaced with a new folder called: "TheSeedHasSpread" Inside it? A text file: You thought you were in control. But you only dug deeper. The game remembers. And now you’re part of it. I haven’t played Terraria since. Now and then, I’ll wake up to dirt clods on my floor. Sometimes I still hear the digging. A few weeks later, a modder friend messaged me. “Hey, did you send me that Terraria.exe mod? The one with the weird boss?” I didn’t. He said the mod added a new enemy that showed up at around midnight—The Burrower .It looks like my character . And it drops an item when killed:“Flesh of the Player – ‘He shouldn't have dug into my world.’”ANAXIMANDER.TERR Creepypasta by @AwokedFromYouANAXIMANDER.TERR CreepypastaSince I had the week off, I felt like playing a game i haven't really played in a I didn’t find the file. The file found me . I hadn’t played Terraria in over a year. Then one night, buried in a backup folder I never touched, there it was: “ANAXIMANDER.TERR” No icon. No size. Just... existing. I assumed it was some kind of mod or corrupt save. My curiosity got the better of me. I finally opened Terraria. There was no title music—just a low, static wind. Only one world showed up on the list:“Eden_Is_Decaying” And one character:“The Terrorian” No other options. No delete button. I clicked Play. Character 1: The Angler I spawned on a beach biome, but everything looked... wrong. And for some reason I wasn't the player, but the Angler NPC somehow. You can't really play as the NPCs in the base game. But that's the least of my concerns for now, as the sky was washed out. The ocean water was murky, like oil mixed with blood. Dead fish floated near the surface. And there, standing awkwardly in place, was the Angler. He looked nervous. “Hey... hey you,” the dialogue box stuttered. “Have you seen anyone around lately? And what's going on with sea life today?” He pointed toward the ocean with fish that looked infected with some unknown diseases and tied to the ground with vines. Beneath the waves, something massive stirred—impossibly fast. The water frothed and bubbled as a greenish fog crept across the sand. Suddenly, the Angler's sprite began shaking uncontrollably. His face changed—eyes wide, mouth stretched open, like the game tried to animate a scream that wasn’t in its sprite sheet. Then he ran. The screen followed him as he bolted along the shoreline. The clouds turned green. Shells shattered beneath his feet. The ocean roared louder, and a thick viney static crept along the screen edges. While some intense music playing in the background. And then he stumbled. A single shell. Too sharp. Too deliberate. He crashed into the ground, panting. The music stopped mid-note. No fade. Just... cut. Then the “player” appeared. Anaximander. He didn’t walk—he drifted . A grotesque fusion of nature and decay. His body was plated with bark and cracked stone, his limbs twisted like mangled roots. Moss and fungus clung to his armor. His face was a corrupted player’s—features barely held together, except for those glowing green eyes and a sick, knowing smile. The game convulsed. UI elements glitched. A single heartbeat played over the speakers—slow and heavy. The Angler tried to crawl. He made it an inch before the sand started to rumble. Roots tore upward, snapping around his legs, arms, and neck. He writhed, screamed—his pixels smearing as the vines dragged him into the earth, alive. His body flickered between frames, like the game couldn’t decide if he was still there. Then… the screen cut to black as a very loud scream cut in, sounding like that one unused sfx of a woman screaming, but slightly longer. A message appeared. "What a weak child, couldn't get far without his fishing skills." The screen zoomed into Anaximander as he slowly turned his head—toward me —and smiled. The loading screen appeared suddenly and took me to the next section. Character 2: The Cyborg Now I was in the Jungle biome.Or what was left of it.The vibrant greens were gone—replaced by rotted trees, brittle vines, and ash-laced soil. The sky was a sickly yellow. The once-lively music was silent, replaced by distant groaning wood, as if the trees were dying in real time.I was now playing as the Cyborg NPC as he stood atop some stone near the ruins of a jungle temple, gripping a rocket launcher and scanning the treeline.“Biome integrity: 4%. Life signatures: zero,” he said, voice cold and clinical.“This zone is beyond reclamation. Commencing purge.”He planted proximity mines in a precise arc and activated a small swarm of defense nanites, which buzzed faintly like angry insects around his shoulders. As he walked, he had to use the nanites to fight off hornets that were far more aggressive than usual. Then the jungle shifted after 3 minutes of fighting hornets. The trees ahead bowed inward as if something massive was moving just beyond sight.A Giant Turtle, grotesquely mutated and covered in ivy rashes and moss, crashed through the vines with unnatural speed. The Cyborg fired—a direct hit—but the beast barely staggered. It slammed into the ground, shattering the stone and launching him backward into the mud.He recovered fast since he was a cyborg, but as he stood, a vine shot from the earth, wrapping tightly around his leg.He reached for the trigger to detonate the mines, the mines were all disarmed with plants growing inside them. The camera zoomed slightly as more vines slithered in—quicker, intelligent. These weren’t normal jungle enemies. They moved with intention. They were revealed to be Vine Snatchers, twisted beyond recognition, their textures flickering like corrupted code and looked quite disturbing. And behind them… emerging from the canopy—Anaximander.Taller now. Larger. More defined after claiming the Angler from earlier. His bark-like armor glistened with rot. Vines pulsed from his back like extra limbs. His face—a glitched parody of the player’s—watched with calm satisfaction. He didn’t attack. He observed. The Cyborg looked directly at him.“Unknown entity detected. Threat level: anomalous.”He tried to reach for a hidden compartment—some backup weapon. A mechanical blade I've never seen before flicked halfway out of his wrist before a vine snapped it off. Then the tearing began. One leg. Then the other. The vines gripped each limb and pulled—slowly, methodically—until joints popped and sparks burst in sickening sprays. The Cyborg didn’t scream. He only stared at Anaximander.“System… failure…im…sorry…my…creators”His torso collapsed, twitching in the mud. The vines pulled the remains into the underbrush. The mines never detonated. The turtle retreated into the trees. The trees were quiet again. And Anaximander, still watching, slowly tilted his head to the camera—To me.The screen distorted again into one last loading screen. Character 3: The Cultist Now it was the Dungeon. The air was still. Cold. The usual music was gone, replaced by faint whispers—backwards and layered. The Lunatic Cultist walked through the dungeon halls, his robes tattered and his staff glowing faintly. "Where did my cult go?" he said aloud. "Where are the skeletons?". I then began playing as the Lunatic Cultist, which surprised me since you can't even play as the bosses in the base game. The walls were bare. The floor was cracked. Skeletons lay shattered, motionless. Then the torches began snuffing out. One by one. The Cultist spun around. Green light pulsed behind him. He turned. Nothing. He kept walking. The dungeon narrowed, as if the walls were growing inward. Then he saw the eyes . Glowing green, distant, then closer. He screamed a chant, casting his cosmic spells. Runes circled. The air cracked with energy. Then, without warning, bunnies —corrupted, eyeless, rotting—launched from the shadows. They bit into his arms, dragging him down, disarming him. His spellbook hit the floor and was pulled into the ground by vines and other plant life. He fell to his knees, bleeding pixels. Then, the greenish fog parted. Anaximander.Towering. Smiling. He reached down and lifted the Cultist like a doll. Anximander then ripped the cultist in half, blood and bones scattering across the dungeon tiles, with a blood curling scream on a black screen. I was then returned to the main menu. But the world name was no longer Eden_Is_Decaying . It now read: I_AM_TERRARIA I clicked the world and saw The Terrorian frozen still—but now, his face had changed. Twisted. Vines spiraled from his sockets. His grin stretched too far . I tried to exit the game. The screen glitched. A new text box appeared: “You saw them die.” “You watched.” “Now you belong here too.” The game crashed. I couldn't believe something like that was sitting on my computer for long, maybe it's a virus, a really well done mod, or even a Fangame perhaps. But no matter what I did, the file didn’t go away. Every time I delete it... it comes back. And now, even in my normal Terraria saves…The grass screams when I walk. The trees bleed when I cut them. And somewhere... just beneath the dirt... I know Anaximander is waiting for me to join Terraria.A Disturbing Yoshi Video by @AwokedFromYouA Disturbing Yoshi VideoHello my name is Alex Goters, i just finished moving into this apartment with my mom and brother after many weeks of moving from our old house due to the rent increasing. We were obviously very tired of moving so we all went to the beds that we just set up into the bedrooms. We all went to sleep within minutes to get ready for the day. But i suddenly woke up at around 2am according to my phone. I couldn’t get back to sleep, so i decided to watch some YouTube videos to get sleepy again. I got my Bluetooth headphones connected and opened the YouTube app. I scrolled down the recommendations, i then saw this weird video called “Yoshi Island” and the thumbnail was just the island from Yoshi’s Island but filtered to look much more grimy and darker. I was curious, but mainly interested in seeing what this could be. It was only 2 minutes long so i figured it would be worth watching, so i tapped the video, and it loaded up perfectly fine. The views were about 1.3k, 5 people liked it, and it only had 10 comments. I turned my phone to its side and started watching. It faded into a 3D model of Yoshi, facing away from the camera and slightly twitching in place with a spotlight over him. The camera slowly moved to Yoshi, and 10 seconds into the video, images of what seemed to be babies' photoshopped into these grotesque, bloody abominations with black liquid dripping all around their bodies started popping in and out of the screen. There were some background noises of what sounded like babies crying but they sounded slowed down and demonic. I even remembered one of the images at the 1:24 mark having one of the fucked up looking babies say in a text bubble say something in Spanish but i couldn’t catch what it said but it went something like “el mundo esta empezando a caer”. It kept showing more and more disturbing images of bloody babies while still slowly zooming into the back of Yoshi. Until the video hit the 1:49 mark and the camera finally stopped moving, Yoshi started to turn around slowly and as he did so, i was horrified by what i saw with my own two eyes. Yoshi didn’t look right; his eyes were bloodshot with black liquid leaking out of them. His body and face were covered with bloody scratches and wounds that were bleeding. His nose was also leaking out that black liquid. Yoshi then gave the camera a big unnatural smile with rotten black teeth, like it was added onto his model. He then started screeching unholy noises from his mouth and then the video ends like that. I was in complete shock, i couldn’t believe a video like this would be posted on YouTube. But to be fair, YouTube isn’t really known for having great moderation. I figured that was enough YouTube for me, so i put my Bluetooth headphones and my phone away to get some sleep. That image of the Yoshi staring at me and possibly into my soul wouldn’t leave my mind every time i closed my eyes. I figured i needed more answers about this strange video, so i opened YouTube to look through my watch history for the video and saw that it was gone. YouTube must’ve taken it down due to its disturbing content. So checking the video again was out of the picture, i had another idea. I checked out my subscriptions to see if other YouTubers had also seen this video too. But it turned out that most of the channels i subscribed to had started to reupload the video with the title being something like: “DO NOT WATCH THIS REUPLOAD VIDEO”. I have no idea what's causing everyone to reupload this disturbing video. I tried clicking on one of the reuploads and it just gave me the message that the video was taken down due to disturbing content. I went back to the subscriptions page to think about this a bit longer. Then something clicked in my head: “Do i have this posted on my channel too?”. I quickly tapped through my you page and headed to my videos to see that i had also uploaded the video to my channel as well even though i wasn’t the one to do this. The title of the video did say something different compared to the other reuploads. It went: “YOU CANT ESCAPE THE FALL, ALEX!”. What The Fuck, this had to be some kind of massive security breach happening to YouTube. I started to freak out, but i took a few deep breaths and went to the hacked upload and tried to delete it off of my YouTube channel but it kept giving me an error message, so i privated the video for now until i can get it deleted for good. I breathed a huge sigh of relief after privating that unwanted upload. I was getting quite tired of this whole Yoshi hacker crap, so i got some sleep. The morning finally came and i went to freshen myself in the bathroom nearby. I went to grab my phone and saw a news report about a YouTube hacking incident that happened late at night, around 2 am. The hacker had uploaded a disturbing video that if watched, would then hack the video onto your YouTube uploads, and any user who also watches the video will also get the video on their uploads like an infectious virus. YouTube did some damage control to prevent the video from affecting other users and forbid any users from reuploading this video or your channel will get deleted. They couldn’t find the hacker that started all of this, so it’s suspected that he or she hid away to not get caught by YouTube and the law of course. I was relieved to know the hacker ain’t gonna be on YouTube anymore, but the hacker is still out there, possibly trying to get into other social platforms. The hacker will probably use that exact same video again to spread his own virus again. I’m just glad that i don’t have to deal with that video again. I even went to see if that hacked upload was there, and it was thankfully deleted. If you ever see a video on any of your social platforms named “Yoshi Island”, do not watch it under any circumstances and report it to the authorities. That image of Yoshi still haunts me, but i’ll probably forget about it in a couple of weeks. At Least my brother didn’t see this video, he would’ve been scared from this.tweening test w/ the painting Fool (aka Fool) by @AnomalousPixelgifhead juggle gif by @CrescentCaribougifscrapped animation by @AnomalousPixelgiflax nature [animated gif] by @Jellhoundgif★ Animated chibi icon of my OC c: by @uberiangifwalk cycle dog [animated gif] by @Jellhoundgif❀//: Get egged, nerd! by @GhostlyWallflowerFae Friends?? by @NamNyagifPatchworks pixel blinking gif by @sapphireYgifcowduck by @GregfewBaconahaycowduckFrazzled by @cynblkfoxgifreload practice animation by @SanshiroIVgifBig AL Fansite Buttons by @MystSaphyrgifA Story No Longer of Sugar and Spice~ 🌈⚡ by @ThundyBunPixel Tower by @ad0xagifDo you still love me? by @Aw-colorcatWhirl's Moving His Antenna [GIF] by @MickblendgifIt's the killer squad by @bobrbobrMost Precious by @ad0xatrophygifJazzing Jess (Artfight Attack) by @MadameJenJennettegif[★♪] Cutesy Pink Animated Welcome Sign by @Novagif
