GameJolt decided to do a Fan Art Friday for Rayman a few months back. It's nice for Rayman to get some recognition.

It's been a long time since I've done some fanart of Rayman. In fact, I took an old sketch of Rayman & updated it and decided to color it in Krita.

I made this old sketch on an art game, The Art Academy: Home Studio, on the Wii U. I made the drawing back in 2017. If I remember correctly, I made this during a GDQ run because someone was playing Rayman 2.

There were some artists that were doing ADQ (art done quick) as a challenge. The challenge was to draw a character, based on what game the speedrunner was playing, and draw it as quickly as possible before the speedrun of the game was over. I managed to get the sketch done, but didn't get the chance to color it b/c the speedrun of Rayman 2 was over.

Rayman Ravin' Rabbids was my first Rayman game. Then I played Rayman Origins. I wanted to play Rayman 2 when I was a kid, but never got the chance to play it until years later when I finally got to play it on my 3DS. Then later on, I played Rayman Legends. I got Rayman 2 & 3 on PC. So, I'm looking forward to replaying Rayman 2 on PC (since I heard it was the best version of the game). Rayman 3, I never played so, I'm excited to get to play that as well.
