Yue wants to be the next Duel Queen

girl 1 – worker (16) – in high school, but also in duel credit college class with Yue and boy 1

boy 1 – worker (21) – in college class with Yue

either beginning of the show or a flashback:

Yue was younger and showed guy who becomes her gf in future dueling for the finals

she finds guy a bit attractive

good friend won semi-finals

guy 1 fights his rival or someone bad.

Low LP on both sides. Both are getting tired, huffing and physically tired and injured.

Something bad happened. The attack caused guy to faint from the attack ends in a tie, but main guy is having a heart attack caught him to forfeit and rival to advances to the finals.

She meets dude in hospital and they talk

In the sterile confines of the hospital room, Yue's footsteps echoed softly as she approached the bedside of the fallen Duelist, her heart heavy with empathy. His once-vibrant eyes now bore the weight of defeat, casting a somber pall over the otherwise antiseptic environment. The young man's body was a testament to the bruising battle he had endured, bandages swathing his broken limbs. Yue's gaze lingered upon his pale face, etched with a mix of pain and resignation. She had heard whispers of his epic Duel, a clash of wills and strategies that had pushed both combatants to their limits. But fate, in its relentless capriciousness, had dealt him a cruel blow, and he now lay defeated and broken.

As Yue's presence filled the room, a flicker of recognition crossed the Duelist's eyes. His lips parted slightly, as though to speak, but a feeble cough escaped instead. Yue reached for his hand, her touch gentle and comforting. 'I'm here,' she whispered, her voice soothing as a balm. 'You fought bravely.' A faint smile graced the Duelist's lips at her words, a flicker of appreciation lighting up his weary gaze. As she sat by his bedside, Yue listened intently as he recounted the tale of his lost Duel, his voice

tinged with bitterness and regret.

The tv was heard on low showing the victor of the tournament. _

"Pretty amazing." Yue said.

"My best friend." He tried to say.

As the camera zoomed out, second place walked off the playing field away from the stadium.

"What's with that guy?" She asked.

Best friend gives his card back after he beat the jerk who stole guy's card and even got that man's deck. Second place throws his cards away after he loses.

Maybe he gives the deck to Yue who wants to be the duel queen

Years later about 2–4 years they're dating and Yue is training hard while _ is working at his restaurant

She's training, but she accepts that he will never play again. He feels content at his choice.

Yue gets kidnapped. BF job (restaurant) gets interrupted by thugs/goons who work for the kidnapper.

People wearing dark suit and sunglasses enter the restaurant

Goon 1: "We're looking for (BF's name)."

BF: "Yes, sir. That's me. What can I do ya for?" He asked cleaning tables.

Goon 2: "You are required to present yourself to our boss for a duel."

BF: "What?" He asked confused. "A duel? What type of duel?"

Goon 1: "A phantom duel." Man said, pulling out something about phantom duels.

BF: "I don't even know what that is. I have played when I was a teen, but eventually stopped playing all together, and decided I'd never duel again. I think you need to leave."

Goon 2: "I don't think you understand. You will be coming with us." He shows a picture of Yue tied up

to a crane above something.

BF: "I said leave now and let her go!" He yelled, pulling out a dagger from his back pocket.

Goon 1: "You don't get to make demands here." They pull out handgun and shot at some kitchenware utensils and expensive china to force him to meet him somewhere.

Goon 2: "You will meet us here in two hours at this address." They left the restaurant, left the picture and walked out.

Three workers exited from the kitchen to examine the damages.

Girl 1: "What's going on here?"

BF: "Everything's under control."

Girl 2 finds paper on a table. Look at this! She shows it to her sister.

Girl 1: "What's this?"

Boy 1: "What?! Yue is kidnapped?! What happened."

BF: "These two goons came to threaten me to duel against these people to save Yue."

Girl 1: "You have to save her!"

BF: "I will, but I will not be dueling. I'm calling the authorities. They threatened me with a weapon."

Four people enter BF's house and follow him downstairs to the basement. BF opens a few boxes with dust and everyone coughs. He used to enjoy it, but he couldn't keep up with the new rules and changes so he quit, but he does like collecting. He still has an old Duel mat and old duel disk from his youth.

BF: "There you are!"

Girl 2: "What's all this? These look like old dueling tools."

BF: "Don't touch these."

Boy 1: "You still have this stuff? You said you quit dueling, but you kept these. However, these aren't gonna help free Yue."

BF: "Look. If you're not gonna help me, get out of my house and get back to work at the restaurant. If you are, shut up about my stuff. I don't criticize what you have. Or I tried not to."

Everyone looked at each other.

Girl 1: "We didn't mean to hurt you or criticize you. It's just that we haven't met anyone with old duel cards and dueling equipment."

BF: "Well, now you have. Are you gonna help my gf or am I gonna do this all alone?"

Everyone took as many toys and accessories out of the basement to help him find something good.

He pulls out a few binders to look through some old cards he used to enjoy playing with. X-Sabers, Ghostricks, aliens, worms, Ko'aki Meiru, spirits, time thiefs, maybe my own made Elijah archetype

BF: "Listen up before we leave. This is the only time I will be dueling, am I transparent?"

Everyone stared at BF for a moment, shocked, and shook their heads without any more sound. He takes his cards, his tools, and even a katana sword. They all jump in his van and head up to the meeting place.

BF: "Alright, I'm here! Let Yue go, now!"

Someone: "Not until you duel me. Yue told me you're the best duelist around town."

BF: "From past tournaments, not life-threatening duels. And I haven't dueled in over a decade. So, Yue is the strongest duelist, not me."

Someone: "Doesn't matter. If you win, I'll be glad to release your girlfriend. If you lose, she dies along with you and everyone you brought along."

Boy 1 uses his computer to scan the deck BF uses before the duel. He records the duel live stream as the duel progresses, he scans cards on the field and records many duel points and combinations that could be done. Tries to help BF

they end up with a tie…

Throws shuriken to try to release Yue, katana, kunai, dagger, etc. to save her
