First fan character reference sheet of 2026, and probably my first mythical character for The Lords of Notre Dame. People were hella superstitious back then, even to the point of believing that dragons, imps, and cynocephali existed.

Sir Lucifer (or at least he once was titled) was an archangel alongside Uriel and Saint Michael. Unlike the others, he desired to be above the Most High. Lucifer's attempt to undermine authority resulted in a rebellion in Heaven and his banishment to Hell, a dark realm where unrepentant sinners would reside after death in the following millennia. Despite Hell being his main residence, he often visits Earth and poses himself as a Cardinal in red, white, and black robes and carries a staff of the alchemical symbol for sulfur. Lucifer often makes deals with eager sinners who want materialistic favors such as fame, power, and knowledge. Whenever he grants their wishes, he always, yet unseen, places hard, damning challenges in front of them.

Raoulin was one of Lucifer's customers, and what Raoulin wants is to usurp the throne, become King, legalize same-sex marriage, and create Paris in his image, full of gambling and lust. Lucifer has already granted Raoulin's wish, but like previous granted wishes, he did give Raoulin those challenges involving his life and role as a Legislator.
