When trying to find references for the cathedral's location I was halfheartidly typing 'castle on cliff' into google search, thinking how something like this could never actually exist in the real world. Swallow's nest on Crimea proved me wrong.

The epicenter of Elazar is the southwest quarter of Torikago, a huge district that surrounds the most sacred building of the city - the great cathedral of the church of Sinners.
It lies right at one of the two highest cliffsides of El'azar.
On the other side of the lake that lays beneath it grows a forest that is often used as a place of vacation by the richest citizens.
