Acute is the son of True Final Boss Monster Isosceles of the Moon and the Adventurer Amant meaning he’s half Adventurer (A Vagrant type to be specific) and half Boss Monster. Because his mother was a True Final Boss, he holds immense power, but can’t control it because of his half-human body. Since power lies in the eyes, his mother sewed up 3 of his eyes when he was baby (a very painful and somewhat hasty operation) to contain most of his Boss Magic which keeps his body from breaking down.
Growing up, he lost his father at a young age and has little memory of him. Without a father and with his mother distraught over his death, Acute taught himself how to use a scalpel and medical scissors as weapons, as well as Boss Magic. Eventually he and his mother ended up at the Tower of Babel, where Acute began to come into his own as a Boss Monster. He tried to do what he could to help his mother with her depression, but he knew he ultimately failed when a Duke of the Moon came to retrieve her.

Her last words to her son were “ Don’t make the same mistake I did. Remember we are Monsters. Love does nothing but destroys us.”

Seeing his mom as a shadow of her former self, Acute found himself taking Iso’s words to heart and becomes the resident “Ice Queen” gaining friends but refusing to go beyond that until one particular Adventurer arrives to challenge him one day....
