Long time no see, hm? I make my triumphant return to Sheezy with some news.
Since I've held off on it for SO many years, I've finally mustered up the courage to try and start up art commissions!
I'm still developing pages for ways to pay me for works, commission sheets and all that good stuff, and I will be primarily doing traditional art, because digital art is a difficulty for me at this very time.
I'll keep you posted for when the commission sheet is ready and my links for payment methods are up and running.
In the meantime, good night, because I really SHOULD be in bed.
How's it going?
My profound apologies yet again for not posting in a while, but a bit's been happening since I last posted a journal here.
(Possible TW Ahead) As of June of this year, some of you(those very close to me) may already know,
I'm a sufferer of catamenial seizures(period seizures, basically), and I haven't had a seizure for a year and a half up until this June. I had a seizure right before my period started this month too, which goes to show that they are catamenial. I'm currently working on solutions for lowering my potentially high estrogen count(since this IS a confirmed trigger for seizures in women) in order to keep from having more, hopefully. I am going to blame the return of my seizures on the fact my apartment recently installed 5 smart meters right outside our kitchen window, since I haven't had a seizure for a year and a half up until that day in June.
Also, after a few weeks not having artblock, I'm finally getting back into art again. Mainly digital art, since I haven't done that in a while either. I have a whole bunch of sketches to digitize and of course, this means that art trades are open once again.
EDIT: Well, so much for an appointment I waited and ENTIRE MONTH FOR.
How's everybody doing? Good? As am I.
As it turned out, my mother's recovery is going much better than we originally thought, as she didn't need too much done(except pin a torn muscle back).
But we will soon know whether I'm about to get my wisdom teeth extracted(or at least, set a date for it to get done), as tomorrow, I might get a consultation.
In the meantime, I'll see about posting more art, possibly doing digital renditions of sketches I've done these past few days. As I've gotten myself involved with a Free Stars(Star Control) related project, I've been tasked to do some artwork for said project. So more of that will come very soon!
And speaking of, Profile Doll! I have a good idea of one already, so stay tuned for that!
Since come July 1st, my mother is going to undergo rotator cuff surgery, I'm going to be significantly busier than usual.
It does not mean I won't pump out more art when I can, it just means that replies, comments and the like will be slower because of taking care of my mother while she's recovering from surgery.
