Kijarr appeared in my head when I had sworn to myself to never pick up a brush again because I got terrorized by my own thoughts that nothing I would create would be worthy for others to see and for me to enjoy.

Every time when I wanted to draw, I really felt the itching urge to pick up a pen and go loose on a white paper - I froze. I had so little positive feedback back then, but other voices nitpicking about my designs being too big, too powerful, too this and too that. It scared be for quite a while and in 2018 I had put down my pens and brushes.

In 2019 the idea for a story line with this oc formed in my head & I found myself scribbling here and there, but never dared to show someone. In SEP 2019 I decided I wanted to draw this one as digital artwork just for myself. To finally draw something that was only for me. And I did. I created a gold technique that I am using to this day & created something that had an emotional meaning for me. And then put it aside. Stored it somewhere on my pc and found my peace. I came back in 2020 because of the joy I felt creating Kijarr.

Kijarr saved my artsoul.
