Been thinking about my RP-site that has been on an unofficial hiatus - Delugeeeee I miss you!! To cope I did this cinematic image of my girl Azahara's megafauna mount, Cistern. He's got a minor redesign - I added more tigershark influence in the form of fins on his tail.

I don't know if I ever said it but Cistern is about 5ft-9in at the shoulder (which I think is about 17ft 1/4 in hands, the horse measurement height) - he is a fully ride-able buddy and he has his own special little saddle made specifically for mount-hounds. I haven't drawn it yet because I am Lazy and was experimenting with this new rendering style I stumbled upon while working on Dos.

That and technically Cistern has two saddles - he has one meant for land traverse (standard saddle with saddlebags) then one that is more like... gods have you seen WildKratts?? It's meant to be like the Manta-Riders, allowing Zara to hold onto and steer him while swimming underwater - still has saddlebags of course but more water dynamic.

At some point I will work on actually designing his saddles and possibly drawing him wearing them for my own sake of reference.
