mannnn this one's sooo hyperspecific LMAOOOO!! had to make night vision, fractal spirals, fictional dirt and WORMSS. It was really cool. this one's another cover art for a future song that follows the one the previous work was for, and it was meant to contrast it the same way the songs contrast each other when it comes to the process...

lets just say the previous work was the most organic approach ive ever done while this one was the most technical ive ever done. 90% of the process was basically like painting only on a digital canvas, meanwhile the process for this one had to be 10% drawing and 90% figuring out how to do stuff. like fractals... which are basically a done deal as soon as you're set, but there was no advice anywhere whatsoever on how to make them in clip studio paint so i had to figure it out all by myself and staying faithful that trying things that ended up leading nowhere fruitful wasn't gonna be a waste of time was... hard. honestly its the most rewarding piece i've ever made bc of that lmao. i feel like i figured out how to do the impossible even tho it was reaally simple. i literally just had to use auto action in the end and just refine the approach from there.

the fractal spirals were super important for me to include so it wasnt something i couldve bailed on anyway. among other reasons, these two pieces were made to express my love for the fibonacci spiral so it was really cool to be able to make it with this one especially since the spirals spell it out explicitly
