i always imagined that foxglove can sort of see the living world and the dying world kind of all at once, being partially blind and a little bit haunted and all. i imagine that sometimes he sees weird shadow people too like when i'm tired, but most of the time he kinda sees little starclan prancing around, trying to cause havoc. if they've got prophecies or know secrets, they tend to think it's funny to tell foxglove about those too, leaving him pretty horrified and paranoid on bad days, and just a bit annoyed and inconvenienced on good days. depends on how he's feeling and what they tell him

i also tried to emulate like howl's moving castle star children because i think they look really cool...
