So if I told the story of Samson was about why you shouldn't get a hair cut, if you were a student in the Bible, you would wonder how I could be so foolish. But let me tell an equal real foolishness plagues Christianity thanks to the church which allowed my mother's and my own abuse against us.
The Baptist have committed herasy time and time again. But learn how truly foolish they are.

The story of Salome is one of the most horrifying in the New Testament, but it is not about the evils of dancing or even erotic dancing.

It's about a power mad king who abuses those around him. It shows how later on this king's son will engage in cruelty against Jesus.

Here is what the Bible actually says about dancing.

...a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance... Ecclesiastes 3:4 in otherwards like many other Holy Books the Bible says we are made to dance.

...I will build you up again, and you, Virgin Israel, will be rebuilt. Again you will take up your timbrels and go out to dance with the joyful.... Jeremiah 31:4
The higher power expects us to dance at his miracles. Even more conservative Holy Books like the Koran argue for being over joyed when the Holy give a gift.

Joy is gone from our hearts; our dancing has turned to mourning.
Lamentations 5:15

God of course also allows us to cry at hard things.

...You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy,
12 that my heart may sing your praises and not be silent. LORD my God, I will praise you forever...
Psalms 30:11-12

Dancing is gratitude.

...Let them praise his name with dancing and make music to him with timbrel and harp.
4 For the LORD takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with victory.... Psalms 149:3-4

To dance shows a humble childish soul.

...They will come and shout for joy on the heights of Zion; they will rejoice in the bounty of the LORD— the grain, the new wine and the olive oil, the young of the flocks and herds. They will be like a well-watered garden, and they will sorrow no more.
13 Then young women will dance and be glad, young men and old as well. I will turn their mourning into gladness; I will give them comfort and joy instead of sorrow...
Jeremiah 31:12-13

Dancing shows you love the life you have been given.

...Then Miriam the prophet, Aaron’s sister, took a timbrel in her hand, and all the women followed her, with timbrels and dancing.
21 Miriam sang to them: “Sing to the LORD, for he is highly exalted. Both horse and driver he has hurled into the sea..."
Exodus 15:20-21

Victory given by the higher power is celebrated by those who serve that power by dancing.

...Wearing a linen ephod, David was dancing before the LORD with all his might,
15 while he and all Israel were bringing up the ark of the LORD with shouts and the sound of trumpets.
16 As the ark of the LORD was entering the City of David, Michal daughter of Saul watched from a window. And when she saw King David leaping and dancing before the LORD, she despised him in her heart.
17 They brought the ark of the LORD and set it in its place inside the tent that David had pitched for it, and David sacrificed burnt offerings and fellowship offerings before the LORD...
2 Samuel 6:14-17

The wicked despise dancing not only in the Bible but many Holy Books.

So I ask how can such an error be made by those who claim to serve the Holy?
