I've always been way more comfortable drawing animals and botanicals, but the last year or two I Went For It with trying to learn to draw people. Studying, classing, learning. They're still so difficult for me, but I'm GETTING there.

This wasn't drawn for the eclipse this month or anything - I think this picture is about a year old? Maybe? but maybe I should pretend that it was, haha. I never posted it anywhere because even though I'm proud of this picture, drawing people is still like. ...it's a major weakness for me. It's something I have to practice a LOT. So I feel Vulnerable when sharing more humanoid art and attempts. But if I'm adding things to sheezy as a new gallery site, I might as well commit and upload this, too, right?

My thought when I was drawing this was that I, like. Those man in the moon ornaments, that always have such a distinct face? I wanted to draw a portrait where the lighting mimicked that.
