These are the few words Julian has heard from people. But only those closest to him - his best friends, his mother - know how sensitive Julian really is, he just hides it. In a world full of magic, the Common Folk are seen as weak and fragile, constantly in need of protection. And Julian hates being vulnerable, he does not want to be seen as weak, and so he refuses to open his heart to anyone. Only occasionally does he vent out his anger, but he doesn't open up, no matter how much his loved ones ask him. He will hide it, like he hides the scar on his arm. A large scar covering most of his arm, the result of an accident that Julian would like to forget. He will hide his scar, he will lock his feelings in his heart. He will not show his vulnerability. Not physical, not mental.

After all, this is what his father taught him. Showing any scar is a weakness that no one should see.
