experimenting with a new fursona idea as well as with oil pastels. drawn yesterday or the day before, not sure. turns out i got covid-19 from anthrocon, so all i could do for a few days is just flop around miserably and maybe even draw a little bit, especially with traditional supplies that i havent touched in years and could use in bed

no worries, though, im already massively better. covid is a strange, strange illness that swept in super hard and fast then pulled away just as quick. i have a bit of a cough today and thats all.

onto the character itself, this guy is inspired by a lot of things. he could be described as a kinsona, being a fun stylized representation of my cat therian feels. but as an anthro character, he's also just... a lot. my blue kangaroo fursona, ambergris, is confidence and strength. i think this guy might be emotion and vulnerability.

ive learned from ambergris that i can never set too many expectations with what a fursona will be because theyll grow into something else very quickly.
