The tail for my personal kangaroo suit, Ambergris. I finished the tail first before anything else so I could wear it on its own to furry meet ups. Ambergris is a partial fursuit with several other parts that I will have all linked together when they're all actually uploaded, I've been enjoying having one post for the entire suit and then a few others for highlighting the details that wouldn't be noticed in the usual scroll-by.

I tried a few new things with this. In order to make the tail stick out more at its base, it has a small amount of eva foam in it to function as a sort of skeleton that holds itself up. I also did two elastic straps that are right next to each other, this way if you're wearing this with pants that have belt loops, you can have the belt looped through the elastic straps and the belt loops at the same time, making things a lot more secure with a heavier tail like this. I'll be doing eva foam bases and two belt loops for all of my tails from now on.
