Original concept of Neera Gryvon, Teldreth's mother. Due to an accident involving intense use of destruction magic, Neera is blind. She uses her staff as a walking stick and with each tap of the ground she 'sees' the world around her using an arcane pulse. Unless one can detect magics, it's not noticeable.
