i'd gotten a few rareball mons from wting so i had shroomish in park,friend,and dream balls. my favourite was the dream ball cuz it was pink on green mon, and the hardest to get. everyone got apricorn balls in alola so you'd be able to get your own shroomish in a friend ball if you reeeally needed it, and park balls were more common than dream balls. tho, those 2 matched breloom more.

i was a breeder so i'd breed shroomish in these rare balls to 6ivs, thanks to a shiny 6iv ditto i got through the wt. then i'd collect egg moves on them. i didn't try to give them special natures since anyone could do that on their own, i think i defaulted to a neutral nature. but i'd look for rare egg and transfer only moves to put on them before handing them out with a hidden ability.

i liked breloom for its potential as a shiny catcher. i would look through the pokedex for any mons with false swipe or status-effecting moves. if it could reduce accuracy to zero, or make ghost types hittable, that was good too. breloom was one of the best at this. with a moveset of attract, spore, stun spore, and false swipe, almost nothing could hit it. when breloom had poison heal ability and held a toxic orb, it could tank anything that did hit it.

i'd have a breloom for shiny hunting, an alolan persian for shiny hunting and stealing things and getting money, a liepard for stealing things and getting money, and a couple others to make sure i could stall any shiny or knock out any foe while hunting.

so i really like breloom. my plant raptor. with tiny little punches.
