Hiya folks! Call me BC! I'm a silly little skelizard and a Christian who likes to write and draw.
I see that it's possible to post writing here. I tend to post my fics to FFN, AO3, and Tumblr, and I... used to post my stuff to deviantART, back when I still used that site, but it was a massive pain. Does anyone else here have any experience posting writing to this site? Is it difficult to do so, and would you recommend posting writing here?
So uhhh... since I'm new here, I should probably introduce myself, right?
I go by BabyCharmander (and have been going by that online for a good 20+ years now!), but you can call me BC. I have degrees in both Studio Art and Professional Writing, and I have some freelance work under my belt doing pet portraits, trading card illustrations, and concept art for an indie video game (the latter of which I'm still doing work on).
For my own projects, I do a lot of fanart and fanfic for the fun of it. I love Pokémon, as you might guess, though I'm into other stuff too, like The Dark Crystal, Psychonauts, and Team Fortress 2. But I have original projects too, such as A Light in the Darkness, a webcomic I have in the works! I'll probably post some art for that soon.
Oh gosh, it's been a while since I've been on an art site! I haven't been on one since I left dA back in 2018 or so, but I've come to really miss this kind of website. But... dA's not the same website it once was, and I can't go back to that. So... I'm going to try starting anew here!
Admittedly I've been struggling a bit with art block. (Not so much figuring out what to draw as much as drawing in general.) Things'll be slow at first, but maybe being on an art site again will inspire me to work more on my art again.
