How long had you've been drawing?
Since I was 6-ish is what I'd is when the interest in drawing really began and then around 9-10 is when I started taking it more seriously?
Who inspired you to do art?
Friends from early childhood and anime like Tokyo Mew Mew and Sailor Moon. My current inspirations tho are a far cry from what they were as a child.
What is your favorite color?
This is such a hard question lmao. It varies a lot and in art is really dependent on overall color palette and/or what suits an oc's tastes in fashion and stuff!
Do you own a pet?
Yea, 3 cats currently. 1 is sort of being babysat though.
How many fandoms are you in?
Uhm... none, really? There's certain series I like that I dabble in fan ocs and stuff for but I don't really interact much with fandom spaces specifically and wouldn't consider myself a part of any fandom spaces!
So where did you find out about Sheezy?
I remember sheezy from like years ago but hoenstly thought it died. Found out it still existed through someone on staff that I followed elsewhere! I really missed dedicated art sites like deviantart and had already tried a few trying to bring that magic back. Didn't like any of them, but then found sheezy and it seemed promising, so I thought I'd give it a shot! So far I have been actually enjoying it!
How did you get your username?
Beetle is a nickname for me that I think is cute, and lark is not only a bird but slang for being a mischievous, silly, etc.
What is your favorite type of chocolate?
Milk chocolate with raspberries, probably... and mint chocolate... and white peppermint chocolate... peanut butter chocolate... ok, I'll stop
Is there any advice for new artists you have?
Never stop trying new things with your art! Do studies of art! Everyone always says study the masters and sure you can do that but if you have no interest in being able to emulate their skills and find doing studies difficult, then do studies of art you like! References ar genuinely your friend, I promise. Most of all, draw the subject matter that makes YOU happy.
And finally, the final question. Are you a morning person or a night owl?
More of a night person by nature! I'd love to be more of a morning person (and sometimes I am more than other times) but my partner also works night shifts so being a night person just wins out more.
