A DnD character for a oneshot.

A grumpy mercenary, one of the last remaining members of the Eupherics, who were tasked to obtain a Time Crystal from Ms. Quiz, a darkfey. Having succeeded at passing her increasingly ridiculous barrage of trivia questions about past campaigns in the setting, he got paid enough to finally retire for good. The crystal was used to help buy time to make a mecha-dragon to fight a destruction fate kaiju in a different campaign.

He's a Calamity Soul Sorcerer (a homebrew subclass that gets its power from events of great destruction). Focused on thunder damage as he got his power from an earthquake during a wild-magic catastrophe that ravaged the world. Lots of lore there.

To fit the subclass' theme, he's named after two extinct insects, the Pashford Pot Beetle and Morant's Blue.
