Lord of the Archives, Tharcereli, The Third most politically powerful Illithid in the empire.

Tharcereli is the Lore taker creed master, and is brought up by name in both Drizzt Do'Urden's Guide to the Underdark and Underdark, though little is actually known about them other than their position.

The Loretakers were the most powerful creed in Oryndoll for millennia until the Time of Troubles, when the Illithid god Ilsensine manifested in Oryndoll for a second time. With the god taking the Encephalithid as its avatar, the Venerator creed overtook the Loretaker creed in power, and it has remained so for the last 134 years.

I imagine having to personally step down to the Venerators probably bothered Tharcereli at least a little bit.
