Inspiration to become an artist: Animal Jam speedpaint videos 😭
Motivation to keep drawing: Idk it's fun I think it's funny I like being able to take the funny beasts out of my head and make them a teensy bit more real. I can make whoever I want say whatever I want and that's awesome
What influenced your artstyle?: Ohh I have no idea lmao. I was obsessed w the Animal Jam art YouTuber Vepiz when I was like. 11? 12? And that was a huge influence, I think you can Still see elements of that in my art style now. Idk I haven't felt "influenced" artistically in a pretty long time. I learned how to shade leather from Gene Bilbrew and how to render metal from Hajime Sorayama. Not a lot of emo dogs in my art upbringing LMAO
Artstyle idol: I suck at this too LMAO I love my mutuals' art always and forever. There's a lot of art I see around where I feel "I want my art to look like THAT" but I can't quite pin it down to one particular person
Preferred medium: Digital always
Favorite tools/programs: FireAlpaca until the day I'm in my fucking casket, babe
Mediums you want to try: Uhuhhhhh I don't have a lot of experience outside of
Most favorite thing to draw: My SEREN! My SEREN!!!! Especially using reference photos from music magazines or photoshoots. Pose practice, costume design, and a cultural homage all in one. I need to do one of those again soon. I also really like drawing clothes
Least favorite thing to draw: Urghhhh I suck dick at like. it's typical but yknow, backgrounds, complex furry designs, stuff like that. But especially backgrounds and sometimes certain inanimate objects
Preferred background noise: Oh whatever. I like music that relates to what I'm drawing (I have both oc and fandom playlists, and if I'm drawing fanart of something that has a soundtrack, I listen to that), but it's not necessary.
Self taught or art classes?: I have never taken a visual art CLASS outside of like, elementary school once in my life and I've made my peace with this. I'm extremely self-taught, sometimes I think quite obviously so, I don't have any interest in pursuing visual art as a career or whatever so like, who cares. Get sillay
Construction lines or just draw it?: Biggggg construction lines guy! Really can't get anything down right without some
References or pure imagination?: Depends! Usually when doing something full-bodied I use references, often pictures I take of myself lmao. But I mentioned rock magazines before, that's a huge source of references for me! And of course I use references for drawing certain items, like weapons, and I'll put together like "inspo boards" of certain clothing pieces if I need to (like for my Harrow designs, I had a bunch of photos of priests' cassocks and vestments pulled up, that sort of thing)
OC you draw the most: Take a fucking guess that's right it's Eerim. Serum. Semen. You get it. I go in and out of phases of drawing other characters a lot but it always comes down to her
Media character you draw the most: My Lady Harrowhark I suppose... I haven't been a huge fanart guy in recent years idk why The Shame I guess. But I LOVE drawing Harrow! I also really really really wanna get into goomens fanart I've drawn Crowley twice if you can count a stickman reaction meme drawover as a drawing but I still really need to get my stylization of him down. I wanna do costume design for a fic I'm working on but that requires face studies of real human actors and I hate that shit. Harrow lives in the pages so it's easier for Any Harrow to look "like Harrow"
Drawing you're most proud of: Proooobably still Pork Soda or the World Goth Day one from last year. Although these Gideons I'm working on are gonna kick ASS
