So just for fun! I wanted to ask if there's any strong emotion that you pick up from my artwork. If what's put in matches what comes out. Or maybe you pick up nothing from it at all, that's pretty cool, too!
I'm still finishing a couple things up, but I wanted to try my luck and see if there were people who would be interested in art trading some time! It would mostly be experimental stuff and all sfw. I don't really mind skill level or if we're mutuals or not! And I'm comfortable drawing creatures of any kind--but humans are not my strong suit, haha.
So so so grateful that a site like this exists, a corner by artists for artists is honestly such an oasis nowadays. It's been so nice to meet people with similar interests! I truly hope this site thrives. Sheezy's creator has my utmost gratitude, haha.
I only really got a short taste of the good ol' days of DeviantArt, but I look at that site now and its state feels so bleak, apathetic, and cold. It makes the heart heavy to see DA crawling with AI pieces that were built off of stolen work, with some of those AI conglomerations even winning front page awards.
Other places are not much better. I find many focus on validation through high numbers and a strict posting schedule. What a creativity killer.
I dunno what the future looks like for art and artists. I guess one can only hope for the best and hold onto the good moments...and keep art alive
Oooo hello hello! I dunno how to best introduce myself, but I joined with last week's registrations and I've been slowly gathering the courage to say hello since. I draw mostly weird bird creatures and dragons...but I'll try and keep the dragons to a minimum here. This time it's for the birds!
But ah, hello!! Hello hello, how's the weather here?
