More info in the alt text over there for the visuals. Xa Fel are very inherently disability-coded as a species on account of Kuat Drive Yards' pollution ruining their planet. I picture this character as being bitter about that and bounty hunting to keep up with the medical bills. A reduced species lifespan down to fifty years made sense for the prompt for me, not the Republics' finest moment.
