30+, I post freebie fandom adoptables. (Or fanart of unsold ones by other users)
bletherdaft is my safe for work handle, I'm also on bluesky, artfight and fandom wiki. Bluesky is where the adoptables claiming happens in comments/replies as opposed to DMs, fandom is where I post gay lions.
Crystal vs Fossil artfight is currently up if you wanna click the link in the bottom corner, I try to revenge any artfight attacks I am given. (But you're not obligated to do the same)
bsky account occasionally delves into/reblogs politics, generally in the vein of awareness or practical advice.
25000 character limit, dang
Anyway figured I'd make one of these to spread my art a bit further. Not gonna be interacting here much, the bulk of what I post is on bluesky but an actual gallery sounded better for organization. I'm old enough that I remember what deviantart was and how it went, definitely had its problems back in the day that teenage me should not have had to contend with but with the AI content allowance and weird layout change its borderline unusable now. Hard to dodge enshittification as costs crop up unfortunately, sometimes all you can do is hop to newer platforms.
In terms of boundaries:
- I like LGBT+ and disabled art, pride flag colour schemes and the occasional dash of sparkledog. Not really a boundary, just if that's not your thing you probably won't find anything to your liking here.
- Pretty much anyone can comment on the art, would prefer minors didn't DM me though. If its a difficult question etc I'm fine with it being a public comment.
- Freebie adoptable claiming is done via public comments on bluesky, I will reply there to confirm/deny a claim. Denial would be a rare thing and I'd give the reason why. (Unless its a troll account or someone I have blocked on another platform already, in which case its an automatic no and I'd just block)
- For my adoptables: I'm ehhhhh nope on claimants reselling as the designs are meant to be free, but if you're no longer feeling the character and wanna clear up the oc stockpile you can give 'em away for free if you'd like, no hard feelings there. Just make sure there's a publicly-viewable post about it somewhere, isn't a hard boundary but helps in case some rando putters along going "u stol this oc >:(" lol.
- On content creation: please please no sexual NSFW/fetish content of a character depicted in the scene as being a minor (combat violence is fine though). No mean-spirited hate art either. Otherwise, draw what you want.
- On changing designs: as long as the identity focal point of the adoptable is not removed you can change whatever, eg no turning an oceangay flag-themed character bi, no un-disabling a disabled character etc. Disabled characters having a less severe variant of their disability is okay though.
- On constructive criticism: This is okay, with the stipulation that you're polite and give me time to process it as RSD sucks. Scolding/dunking behaviour won't be accepted even if you squeeze a technically constructive criticism into it. Criticism is in turn open to criticism, disagreement, counter-feedback etc, if I go back and forth a little its not me being a smart-ass, just ironing out clarifications.
s'all I can think of, happy browsing.
