I played around with the idea of how she got her wings, and thought that she was similarly, born a unicorn, who crafted herself wings through magic, whereas she wouldn’t be an official alicorn, but a unicorn with wings made of magical substance.

tea and dreamsthe seeping wound of the sun bled across the beginning of the world, thick and golden like honey. once it began, it did not stop. it bled, and bled, flooding and filling every available place, choking out all shadow in its warming glow until it were nearly eradicated, until nearly none were left in those dark and soft places that were not kissed by Light. woodsy lived in the place where the sun rose first, it felt like. high up in the mountains where the weather was different, colder, clearer. the stars were closer to her; she'd often thought that if she could just manage flight, she could step across them like a stone pathway through a garden, that heavenly garden. lying on her back in the clover, now, she could see them going away, disappearing in the sunlight that drowned them out in her own brightness. as the light grew, it became too bright for her direct vision, and the alicorn would roll onto her side in the greenery, stocky body wrapped curled in the wildflowers like a sleeping newborn. the flowers here erupt from the ground as though they intend to sprout legs and walk away. the desire seems to emanate from their straight-backed stalks and sky-seeking petals, the way their leaves seem to reach, reach, reach, like a little one feeling around on top of a countertop for a cookie, or for Mama's coffee to tip over. when woodsy lies down, she always picks her spot carefully, to avoid crushing or trodding over them. indeed, every foray into a wildflower field is performed this way, with careful ungulate steps, her horse's legs carrying her as carefully as possible as to not offend any little flowers. they made her happy, so why should she trounce all over them in a sloppy way? they whispered when the wind blew. not the way the trees did, the trees crashed against the invisible wind with an incredible sound like the ocean. the flowers bent and waved and whispered and gave homes to the bees and the fieldmice and all the little bugs. when she wanted to be among all of them, she'd find a good clear spot like this, and lie down, and let the sun kiss her cheeks the way it kissed theirs. she sometimes deeply wished she could photosynthesize. instead, she ran off of tea and dreams.Contact..."...Nilena went to another building directly next to the one she was in a second ago. She opened the door slowly hoping that it wouldn’t be too loud. It wasn’t, but as soon as she could take a look inside she saw another Antanai standing not too far away. She slipped into the long corridor as fast as she could and before the door would slam shut she stopped it with her telekinesis. She then turned back to the Antanai hoping that they wouldn’t realise anything. But the Antanai was looking at a painting of some sort and it kinda felt like she was totally absorbed in thoughts.Good for Nilena! She tried to sneak her way to another door yet again praying it wouldn’t make any noise. She got lucky! One fast look into the next corridor to make sure there wouldn’t be anyone else and then she slipped in. Nilena turned around watching the other Antanai. She was really curious why the other Antanai seemed to be totally lost in thoughts gazing at the painting but she couldn’t quite make out what exactly it was depicting from this angle.Suddenly the temperature fell rapidly. It got so cold that Nilena could even see her own breath. And not only she felt it, even the other Antanai got startled and turned around instantly. „What?“ she mumbled.In the blink of an eye Nilena saw something she could’ve never had imagined. Purple stains formed on the floor, the wall. Something emerged out of those weird things. First it looked like a weird smoke or fog but then it started to form something... No! somebody...Three different apparitions and they more and more took the form of Antanai even a Panai. They totally surrounded the Antanai and got closer to her. „No! No! Please!“ she stuttered when suddenly she turned and started to run away. She didn’t get far though, she was pulled about a meter above ground by something and then she was slammed into the wall with such force that she couldn’t do anything any more. Her dazed body fell hard to the ground.„Take her away…“ something said. It sounded as if it came from anywhere yet nowhere. Never had Nilena heard or seen whatever it was that happened right before her eyes. All of a sudden the purple shine came back. This time directly under the still stunned Antanai. She then fell through the floor. Apparently the shock was strong enough that her senses came back for just a moment. She desperately tried to get a hold on the floor with her claws but got pulled into that purple mass further and further. She screamed and after she was swallowed whole it sounded as if she was falling down somewhere and her scream faded out more and more until you couldn't hear anything any more. Then two of the three shadows jumped into it too. But one held back. It seemed to listen. The ears twitched in every direction and it even turned around. Did it sense Nilena? Did it knew that she was there too? On the spot Nilena turned around and ran away. She ran as fast as she could. She didn’t even care about any chance to run head first into another patrol. She just ran! She wanted to get away from it… Just away!..."
