Cranidos are quite cute, but not exactly all that intelligent,
even after being revived and having their stats and initial DNA altered.
Because of their low intelligence, high aggression (and honestly pretty bad eyesight), Cranidos rely mostly on scent to get around, and whatever doesn't smell right to them will get a taste of its signature head bashing attacks or a powerful punch with its fists.
Though you'll likely get rammed regardless as they are simple creatures that seem to do a lot of their communication through head bashing.
When they're happy, they bash their heads together,
when they're upset, they bash their heads together,
when they're hungry...they politely groan for another individual to share their meal with them...and then bash their heads together.

For many Fossil Revival Stations, protocol ensures that many warnings are given to trainers who wish to revive Cranidos
because of their often rough natures, and sometimes even waivers are signed.
Though despite its roughness and hard exterior, that is not to say that Cranidos can't ever be trained or be friendly. With lots of time, patience, and a military-grade bulletproof vest, they most definitely can be just like any other Pokemon!
Once they've been properly socialized and understand that everything isn't out to hurt them, Cranidos can actually be quite gentle and affectionate with those they've bonded with.
Cranidos are among one of the few Fossil Pokemon to not be such picky eaters upon revival, willing to eat whatever kind of berry, leafy green or Pokemon food you throw at it so long as it can fit into its mouth.
Though each individual Pokemon is different, it still may not be the best idea to have Cranidos around small children. Even if they don't mean to hurt the ones they care about, a head bash from such a creature is powerful enough to shatter bones and even the hardest rocks like so much brittle glass.
