this au assumes you have knowledge of the plots of pony island, the hex, and inscryption

after the events of inscryption, amanda (and sado) finds herself in possession of the highly sought after and thought to be permanently lost floppy disk containing the karnoffel code. her next job is simple: decrypt and deliver the karnoffel code to lou natas as soon as possible.

however, she only discovers a heavily modified version of the cancelled game inscryption that seems to have been developed by her late ex-girlfriend kaycee hobbes and played from the perspective of a very confused luke carder, the man whose life was stolen in order for amanda to get her hands on the floppy disk in the first place.

now that she is being confronted by the (literal) ghosts of her past, amanda must decide whether to finish her job and save her own life but risk the life of billions or to defect and help kaycee, luke, leshy, and lionel snill (yeah, unfortunately he's here too) finally destroy the karnoffel code once and for all and potentially save the lives of everyone while putting herself in mortal danger.
