Oh yeah look at those guys! While Sonic is Uzi in this au Knuckles and Rouge fill in the rolls of Thad and Lizzy. The three of them are friends, not close friends but they're casual around one another. As the stares get raised and the story progresses they do start to rely on each other more. Rouge works as an intern at the WDF and Knuckles kinda follows her around when she gets lonely, the two of them are quite close friends and have each other's backs.
