Axel was caught up in the war once the front lines got to his town. He was taken as a prisoner, used as a scout and forced to watch his home town burn to the ground. He escaped by sacrificing an entire troop to a suicide mission. Now he lives in the shadows, constantly afraid that his past will catch up to him.
