I'm living my best life fr

last thursday i went to a tiny punk show and dragged along my brother for his bday!! it was sooo good and i cant wait to go again and again. i met a band member there and i'm obsessed w their sound. they're called Listen Up Kid! i'm determined to follow them to every gig from now on bc they were that good. the other bands were amazing as well for sure but i feel like this band has such crazy potential. i can't believe they havent been picked up by a big label or something!!

aside from that my 28th birthday is coming up and i decided about a month ago that my birthday gift to myself is gonna be my first tattoo that i have had planned for over 5 years now. its gonna be dedicated to my kitties :3 i just sent the email out tonight and aaaa i'm so nervous to hear back from them. on top of that i commissioned some crochet dolls from my friend Jack that i'm sooo excited to get!!! they're of the MCR members in their revenge outfits plus my killjoysona but as a little dolly dude :DD i love them i can't waittt to hold them and squish them and love them forever

something i'm doing before my birthday is getting my hair recut. its currently overgrown and my undercut is a mess again. i need it to get in order soon before it looks unhinged 😂
i've also been waiting for it to snow consistently (still waiting tbh) so i can hopefully do a party poison photoshoot thing in the snow. i feel like the brighter my hair is for that shoot, the better it'll be. might have to wait for next year, though. the snow DOES NOT want to stay this year :(

i've been drawing way way more since i got the tablet!! to my detriment most days. on the weekend i drew for what felt like an hour to me, turned out it was FIVE HOURS i had been sitting there only taking breaks to use the bathroom lol. drawing on the tablet is seriously so freeing and natural compared to a non screen tablet. i could draw forever. i need to do some more art of my ocs and stuff soon especially now that i have it because now i can finish my reference images much quicker ^^

aaand last but not least i picked up the new warriors books. currently reading Riverstar's Home and i reserved Ivypool's book. i believe i still have to read 2 arc books from asc but after that i'm caught up again :3 its been so long since i've read my cat books. one day i want to get a dedicated shelf and line all of them up in chronological order.
