design concepts for the members of a lost expedition from a story I wrote some time ago :]

ID: a collection of aliens of different sizes and species all wearing the same uniform, with their elemental types, roles and pronouns. The first is the captain and diplomat (it/he), a stone born with dark gray skin and four small dot-like eyes; the second is the engineer and mechanic (he/they), a stone born of the same species, with gray skin in varying shades, six vestigial eyes, and a serious expression; the third is the medic and tracker (they/she), a tall and lanky plasma-born with purple skin, yellow eyes, three legs, vestigial fins and face tentacles like a fish; the fourth is an engineer and communicator (she/her), a water born with one big neon green eye, and darker green skin with rings of neon green; the fifth and last is the navigator and communicator (they/it), a shadow born creature with very long arms, lop ears, dark skin, dark purple eyes and a circle of vestigial eyes crowning its head. in the bottom right corner is a little round circle with the face of a robot with one big green eye, and text that says "and ymumy!"
