Gareth is a calm Corydon, watching people from wherever he's lounging. He enjoys working as long as it is within his interests. He is not a morning person. He doesn't enjoy a lot of rushing about and prefers to take things at a pace that is fast but comfortable, or mostly when he feels to.

He smells like chamomile with a bare hint of mint, though if he gets wet he smells overwhelmingly minty.
It is easy to tell where he hangs out due to areas he rubs his chin against, leaving the flowery scent behind.

His tassels are actually locks of hair interlocked much like feathers do, surrounding long whisker like stems that the bell like objects grow from, they are floppy but he can control if he wants them to stand out or not though they aren't that sturdy. Cutting them off does not hurt and they will grow back in two to three months time.

His favorite animal is the burrowing owl.
