- he/they
you do not understand how powerful the magnet is
i really like this site and im seriously trying my damndest to start being more active here in general
i sort of dropped off the face of the earth due to:
- full time work (busy)
- personal life event (not that serious but a major distraction from art nonetheless)
- insecurity about my art (i sometimes get extreme impostor syndrome and feel like im not making Real art and get all in my head about it and get afraid to post anything that isn’t some kind of perfect scenery drawing)
anyway i realize thats silly and i should really just try to post stuff more again. i inadvertently just stopped publicly posting any of my art outside of my toyhouse (which is not a good site for a portfolio or gallery or for showing your art) for a full year.

- Multiplayer games: Terraria, Minecraft (i only enjoy this game in small-scale multiplayer), Splatoon
- Game characters: Shadow Leviathan (Subnautica), Zagreus (Hades), Leshy (Inscryption), P03 (Inscryption), The Original Star walker (Deltarune), Link (Zelda), Zoologist (Terraria), Ganon (Zelda), Al-An (Subnautica), Hypnos (Hades). I could go on forever listing characters I like honestly.
- Bosses: The Destroyer (Terraria), Slime God (Calamity Mod), The Angler (Inscryption), The Moon (Inscryption), Honestly i don't know off the top of my head.
- Endings: FNAF Pizzeria Simulator had no right to have an ending that goes as hard as it does. Undertale Yellow, Undertale.
- Levels and areas: The Crimson (Terraria), P03's Factory (Inscryption), The Depths (Tears of the Kingdom), The Steamworks (Undertale Yellow), Cyber City (Deltarune)
- Soundtrack: Ok every game I've mentioned here also has a banger soundtrack. Ultrakill. Splatoon.
★ MISC ★
- Difficult or irritating, but you still enjoy: Dead Cells, Calamity Mod's harder difficulties.
- Best story/writing: Undertale, the Zelda series, Outer Wilds
- Overrated game: Not sure. I could list the games I dislike for no reason but I don't think they're overrated.
- Underrated game: Subnautica Below Zero. Most Subnautica fans just don't like it that much or at least consider it inferior to the first game but I find it to be at least on-par if not better.
- You cried over: Skyward Sword's story, Undertale Yellow's ending
- You cheered over: Tears of the Kingdom's trailers??? idk. Terraria update
- You put too many hours into: Terraria
- Want to play: Ultrakill
- Average rating you give games you play: IDK maybe like 7
- Funniest 'game logic' moments: All the bullshit you can pull with the BOTW/TOTK physics engine is really good.
★ THIS OR THAT ★
- PC or console: Console. Most PCs that can run that level of game cost way more than consoles tbh. I do prefer to play Terraria on PC though, the console controls for it are ass.
- Home console or handheld: I love the portability of handhelds, so that I guess. But not by a huge margin.
- Nintendo, Sony or Microsoft: i dont stan companies
- Mario or Sonic: Mario I guess
- Set protagonist or custom character: No preference, but customization is fun.
- Turn-based or real-time combat: Real-time
- Keyboard/mouse or controller: Depends on the game a lot. Some games are just built for one or the other. Terraria, for example, is so bad with controller.
- Open-world or small areas: Genre-dependent
- Procedural or static map: Also genre-dependent
- First or third person: ...Also... genre, depender,nt
★ Art programs you have but don't use?
Paint Tool SAI 2, I used to use it heavily up until I switched to CSP. I keep it installed so I can still open some of my older SAI files. I also have Blender but prefer Blockbench since I do low-poly models sometimes, and Blender is a bit too hard on my PC.
★ What ideas come from your childhood?
A lot of things really. My enjoyment of sci-fi, cats, video games, all that, stems from my childhood.
★ Fav character/subject that's a bitch to draw?
I really love pixel art but I'm just not too good with it. I can do it but it's a bit of a struggle sometimes. I also feel like everything is a bitch to draw sometimes for me.
★ Estimate of how much of your art you post online vs. the art you keep for yourself?
The stuff that gets finished gets posted online, and the stuff that doesn't, doesn't. That's basically about it.
★ Anything that might inspire you subconsciously (e.g. this horse wasn't supposed to look like the Last Unicorn but I see it)?
Pretty much anything I like ends up influencing my art in some way. I guess it's not even subconscious, I like to consciously borrow from sources I like a lot.
★ A medium of art you don't work in but appreciate?
Physical crafting, animation... really any sort of art I don't do. I appreciate all art a lot.
★ What's an old project idea that you've lost interest in?
I had an idea for a story about anthro characters that was supposed to kinda be a weird fictionalized version of my real life but I realized how stupid it was and scrapped it. I re-used some of the better character designs from it to make a different, unrelated story.
★ Favorite piece of clothing to draw?
I haven't really drawn clothes in a while (oops), but I do tend to draw suits a lot so I guess I enjoy doing them.
★ Do you listen to anything while drawing? If so, what?
Music, Videos (only the sort that can be listened to without watching the visuals). Don't really do podcasts or audiobooks though.
★ Easiest part of body to draw?
Not sure. Faces, maybe? I always lose my shit trying to pose the rest of the body.
★ A creator who you admire but whose work isn't your thing?
I can't say, because the only creators I have admiration for are the ones whose work are my thing.
★ Any favorite motifs?
Machines maybe? The horrors?
★ Where do you draw (don't drop your ip address this just means do you doodle at a park or smth)?
Home, sometimes on random sheets of paper at work, but almost always at home.
★ Something you are good at but don't really have fun doing?
I don't know. The stuff I don't like is the stuff I struggle with, so I can't really say I hate doing the stuff I don't have trouble with lol.
★ Do you eat/drink when drawing? if so, what?
Usually I have a drink on me. Sparkling water mostly.
★ Favorite inanimate objects to draw (food, nature, etc.)?
Food probably. I like cooking irl and I should draw food more maybe.
★ Something everyone else finds hard to draw but you enjoy?
Mechs and robots. I don't really find them hard to draw honestly.
★ Art styles nothing like your own but you like anyways?
Too many to list, because I really like most styles.
★ What physical exercises do you do before drawing, if any?
I go on walks a lot. I also do stretches a lot just because they feel good to do.
★ Do you use different layer modes?
Yeah I often try to make use of them though I should branch out and use more than what I use now.
★ Do your references include stock images?
I still haven't gotten into the habit of referencing enough, but when I do, yes. I should really start pulling up more refs when I draw because I get frustrated about drawing but it's 99% of the time just because I just don't feel like pulling up refs. I should. I really, really should.
★ Something your art has been compared to that you were NOT inspired by?
Nothing that I can think of. Even anime comparisons are kinda accurate because a lot of anime/mango inspire me even if I don't consider my style to actually be anime.
★ What's a piece that got a wildly different interpretation from what you intended?
I don't really think there are any. Nobody has really interpreted my art- or at least nobody's told me what their interpretations are. My stuff is also too surface level to be honest.
★ Do you warm up before getting to the good stuff? If so, what is it you draw to warm up with?
I doodle randomly usually before I get to something I want to finish, so technically yes, but I don't often consciously choose to warm up.
★ Any art events you have participated in the past (like zines)?
Only small ones like limited ARPG prompts, or secret santas, or I guess ArtFight if it counts as an Art Event TM
★ Media you love, but doesn't inspire you artistically?
Everything I love inspires me in some way so n/a I guess.
★ What piece of yours do you think is underrated?
Fuck I dunno. I guess I think all my stuff is underrated but I have a complex about that.
I moved a few of my posts to my persona account here. It's an account specifically for stuff relating to my main like OC world which I call a comic but I havent made anything so. Very WIP.
