And last but not least, Louie! I wish I had an excerpt to share for him, but he was the last ref I finished right as artfight started, and I never got around to finishing his profile, besides a few tidbits :-( hopefully I can find some time this month to fix that! I'm still not entirely sure what I want his character to be like, either, so that doesn't help much.

Ensign Louie is a good officer, albeit rather awkward, and even a bit shy. But when he opens up to you, you'll find him to be very enthusiastic and excited about his work, and very sweet! I'm not sold on his career path yet -- exobiologist was what I was thinking originally, but I'm still tossing around ideas. I imagine he takes a heavy personal interest in the biology of non-sentient alien lifeforms (sentient ones, too) and otherworldly ecosystems. He's best friends with S'kegg and Ashan-Tyr, and does his part to keep them out of trouble, as most others don't understand the two as well as Louie does. The trio loves to get up to shenanigans together and are seldom seen apart when not working.

The marks on his face are acne/acne scarring. It's something I rarely ever see on characters, despite it being incredibly common (and struggling with it myself). Not even in the 24th century has mankind discovered a permanent cure to pimples!
