i got the idea for the printed wings on the back of his top from rinoa from ff8, who also has wings on the back of her top. i wanted to keep his angel namesake in his design somehow. he's not an angel but still.

also the flowers aren't really based on any flower. i just drew some vague flower shape, lol.
i specifically chose green flowers for him because i thought green flowers aren't really portrayed all that much in things, and i find them way more mysterious than any other color of flower. people don't often think about the idea of a green flower yknow? but they do exist! i think it adds a bit more of a whimsical vibe to his character.
