figured id upload the full art my icon is from :P this is somewhat old by now lol if not evident by the brushes being ones i do nawtttt use these days. but it was done to show off some troll hcs + hcs fur specifically my favorite girl chixie.

i like to think that trolls' blood color gets even more obvious as they age and rather than just.. going black? they just get more colored skin. because i dont like the idea that trolls get more aggressive as they grow up AND they also get darker?? as they grow more aggressive?? to me trolls are like weird mammal-esque bugs but it can depend on their lusus.. chixies lusus in my mind was some sheep/rabbit thing. as trolls grow they gain more traits similar to their lusus and since chixie is canonically one of the older friendsim trolls she has a wooly neck and such already. the body thing is because i dont like giving trolls tits they dont have any reason to have them when they dont reproduce like mammals and in fact come from a giant bug and then latch on to an entirely diffurent animal. i know some people decide that their tits are like fur heat or something instead but if i went by that logic i would give every troll tits and even as a tit enjoyer id rather have a species that just doesnt have them. trolls can be naturally bulkier instead
